First cruise with MSC and pleasantly surprised

Review for a Cuba Cruise on MSC Armonia

We went on the 7 day RT cruise from Miami. Never cruised with MSC before and actually had pretty low expectations from the reviews, but thought we would go with an open mind because we really wanted to see Cuba and it was a good price plus we got the Easy drink package and WiFi for free. They will match your status with other lines, so be sure to do that before you go. We flew into Fort ...

MSC Armonia to Cuba 5-13-19 7 nights

Review for a Cuba Cruise on MSC Armonia

Like many Americans, I have always wanted to see Havana, mostly because we weren't allowed to travel there. When that changed, I started making plans to find a cruise that had a overnight stay there. The Armonia sailing was 7-nights with an overnight in Havana for less than 5-night sailings on other lines that didn't even include an overnight stop. Having just taken my first MSC cruise last ...

Review for a Cuba Cruise on Norwegian Sky

This one was the only one that we could find that spent an overnight in Cuba. We also liked that it was a short trip because it was my and my sister's first cruise experience. They had numerous promotions at the time that we booked, which made our experience even better - especially the specialty dining promotion that my husband and I used to celebrate our anniversary. The cabin was larger than I ...

Good food, calm sailing but misrepresentation of time in Cuba

Review for a Cuba Cruise on Norwegian Sun

A friend & I decided seeing Cuba was a priority on our bucket list. Cuba was the main reason we took this cruise, Key West (which we loved) was just a bonus. UNFORTUNATELY we only saw Cuba for 6 hours, all on a bus with three half hour stops. Hardly time to see anything. The ad on the NCL website said 2 DAYS-our plan-we would do the tour on Day 1 and go back on Day 2, having decided what to visit ...

short quick cruise. one day in havana, one day at sea, one day at stirrup cay. Havana was GREAT, arranged a third party tour and spent all day in Havana and night at Tropicana. Tropicana show was ok, all in spanish, all the music sounded the same to me. Was about 2 hours, but could have been much shorter for me. Didnt do Stirrup Cay, it rained nearly all day there so we missed it but we did ...

I decided to take this cruise to see Cuba. I had already been on the Sky before it went into dry dock for a refurb. It was good to see they made some changes, and some I did not like as much. My cabin was clean, but the shower was horrible. It went from ICE cold to BOILING hot all the time while in use. Many areas of the public space have been changed since the refurb. They moved the Piano ...

Just wanted a quick get away and check off a bucket list for my Husbands birthday. This was a Monday to Friday cruise to Havana. I was prepared not to like the cruise or the line but everything was great. We booked at the last minute and did not get to pick our stateroom but we had an ocean view room on level 4. It was the smallest room and the lowest level we ever had on a cruise but ...

My husband and I traveled on our first Norwegian cruise and thoroughly enjoyed. This was our first time with Norwegian and we will definitely be back. We enjoyed the number of people on the ship. It didn't seem like it was over-crowded. We enjoyed the piano man but our only complaint is that you should have scheduled him in the Observation Bar it would have been much better and there would have ...

Relaxing in style (wherever Silversea decides to take me!)

Review for a Cuba Cruise on Silver Wind

This was my 3rd cruise, my previous being on Silver Discoverer and Silver Shadow. When I booked the itinerary was to Central America but it got changed towards the end of 2019 to being Cuba and Cape Canaveral but Silversea hadn't done its research and so the itinerary changed swapping Cape Canaveral for the the Bahamas - Nassau and Bimini - ultimately we ended up overnighting in Nassau instead of ...
