Review for a Cuba Cruise on Sirena

We selected Sirena and Oceania because the schedule was good for us and the itinerary just what we wanted. Sirena is a smaller cruise ship than previously booked and we wanted to see if size and quality of ship, as advertised, were true. Sirena did not disappoint on either account. With only some 680 passengers the ship was well proportioned for this capacity and certainly there was never ...

I chose this cruise because we needed a vacation. It was the first time for my fiancé. It was the third time for me. I was on 2 other cruise ships before but always wanted to try NCL. I’m happy I did. After some research and price hunting online looking on other cruise websites, we decided to go with the NCL 4-day all inclusive to the Bahamas and Cuba. I could not believe the price and that it was ...

I choose the cruise for opportunity to visit Havana and the Sun did not disappoint!! Thanks to cruise critics roll call feature, we were invited to a Meet and Mingle event on the Sun where we were treated like VIPs and welcomed by a senior officer of the ship and the activities Director. Also, through the CC roll call, we had chance to meet others interested in an in-depth and customized tour ...

We spent two nights in South Beach, Miami, before boarding the cruise. Really enjoyed unwinding and beach time. There were just 2 of us on this trip. Both over 45. The embarkation process was simple and easy, no delays. Our luggage was delivered to our stateroom well before dinner that evening. We were on the 10th deck, in a balcony room. The room was as expected, very nice, with plenty ...

We wanted to go to Cuba in October for my in laws 60th anniversary and my husband's birthday. There were 9 of us that went. My husband and I had a suite so we had lots of perks including getting on the ship much faster and debarking much easier and faster than other people. And they were always so nice to let our whole group to go with us. We had a great butler, named Rogin, he brought us lots of ...

On to Cuba - a lively voyage

Sirena Cuba Cruise Why this cruise? In a word – Cuba. We had never been there; and were unlikely to make a second visit given our advancing years; so, when Oceania offered this trip we were quick to grab it. This would be our 7th Oceania cruise; and the second on Sirena. It would be for only 7 days with two days in Havana, one in Cienfuegos and one in Santiago de Cuba so it seemed like a ...

This was our first cruise on Oceania and had chosen to give them a try when we first saw their published itineraries for Cuba. We visited Havana for 2 days, Cienfuegos and Santiago de Cuba on this 7 night cruise from Miami. We really enjoyed being on a small ship and never had any major issues getting seats for meals or lounges on the pool deck. The food was very good. We were very impressed ...

Stressfree cruise with all free drink

Unlimited free drinks and cocktails are really a good value as we spent most of our time in drinking at the ship. I am not a drinker but I still enjoy to explore a mango smoothie or greyhound cocktail. Unlimited wine at the dinner and midnight Old fashion drink by the show. Norwegian Sky is a mid size cruise ship with a stream line design that has one stage at one end and, one dining hall at the ...

There were 32 of us there to celebrate our 15th anniversary. We decided to splurge for the owners suite. We were not disappointed, the room was amazing. After reading a review here it was mentioned that 8201 was the biggest room on the ship. And I would agree. Our balcony was almost twice the size of the rooms on the 9th deck. The rest of the groups rooms were on the small side, but guess that ...
