In my new Cruise I decided to try MSC and we wanted to have at least one stop in Cuba. The desapointment started when I bought the Ticket. A mispelling in my email and it was impossible for me to change anything in my reservation. Arriving in the cruise the check in, the informations are poor. The only thing the want is to sell you the drink package. The security instructions failed because ...

After six months still no word from NCL on the worst cruise of a lifetime

In the beginning....emergency drill procedures: all passengers were crammed like sardines outside in the 93 degree sunshine and made to wait 25 minutes extra for late arrivals before starting. Several of us couldn’t make it through that heat with no water and had to stand inside to cool down, several older folks almost passed ou, 1 didt. The food was horrible. The staff were all brand new, ...

Review for a Cuba Cruise on Regatta

. We have previously sailed on Oceania Sirena twice and we loved both cruises so much we couldn’t wait to get on board Regatta, what a disaster this turned out to be. During the mandatory life boat drill in San Francisco all the passengers, mostly quite elderly were made to stand around in the sun while a long and totally unintelligent broadcast was made about regulations regarding Cuba, which ...

Review for a Cuba Cruise on Norwegian Sky

We chose this cruise in order to go to Cuba. Definitely not time in Cuba! Our first excursion was booked for 10:30 but actually changed last minute until 11:20. We did not get off the boat until after 12 and waited for over 30 minutes to go on our excursion. We chose the Old Havana Exclusive. We had 13 people in our group, but our tour guide "Tony" was so soft spoken with very broken English it ...

This was a very old ship with some problems in my cabin with ac, asked help on service desk but they were not very helpful, poor customer service also on bars they were not very friendly. Another bad thing about this cruise was they canceled the same day the Bahamas day and we keep on the sea but we never were on the beach even when we were on the Caribbean Sea. For me was important stay in the ...

Review for a Cuba Cruise on Norwegian Sky

We had never been on Norwegian prior to this cruise and it was a true disappointment. There were extra fees after we added the gratuities to the payment we still had to pay an additional $40 per day! The internet was non existent most of the time. The food lines in the buffet are ridiculous and most of the food was cold. The buffet staff are very slow to clean the tables. The first day out it ...

Cuba was great, the ship was not great

Review for a Cuba Cruise on Norwegian Sky

I was warned it was a booze-cruise, but chose to book it since I'm a Lattitudes member and wanted to see Cuba, A Bucket List. The ship got us to Cuba (AMAZING!) and back to Miami. I wouldn't book the Sky for any other reason unless the cruise was free. A smaller ship will have less amenities than larger ships, we accepted that going in. But allowing for that, the ship is outdated, showing ...

An Organized Mess

I wanted to visit Cuba so I decide to take Norwegian instead of Carnival. What a mistake, it stated with the check in process. Checkin was reasonably simple, but it's the hurry up and wait routine, because as you check in you are not able to get on the boat there was about a 45 minute wait before we could board. We got on board at about 11:30 AM, but had to wait until 1:30 PM to get into the ...

DO NOT GO to MSC Armonia or MSC cruises

Review for a Cuba Cruise on MSC Armonia

Absolutly DO NOT GO to MSC Armonia or MSC cruises. The ship is very old, needs to be refurbished at all or get retired. When we sailed the sea was quite calmed but the ship moved a lot, some people even got move-sick. We’ve sailed in many other cruises of other companies before and I can asure you that we didn’t feel the movement. The entertainig activities and the shows were poor, except the ...

Don't Trust Norwegian!

I recently went on a Norwegian Cruise. Prior to booking I was considering Royal Caribbean, but made the decision to chose NCL due to the 'Free at Sea' promotions. Be aware that you may or may not actually get the promotions promised. Despite having email proof of the dining and shore credit, the front desk on the ship refused to honor the credit. I have since been on the phone with NCL after ...
