food was never served hot... dining hours were awful... ALL dining venues closed at 9:30 for breakfast and 10 pm at night..even the upstairs buffet... wanted a cookie at 10:00 ..everything was put away... upstairs, downtstairs, all over the ship.. i was told to call room service...

Due to engine trouble on a Cuba cruise we missed the port of Santiago. Things happen OK. However, on a 7 day cruise that left us with 2 1/2 days in Cuba and the rest of the time on the ship. The embarkment of the the cruise was very smooth, got our luggage quite fast after boarding the ship. The day at sea I decided to go into the pool and a few hours later my eye started swelling up. It became worst so visited the on board doctor who confirmed I had an infection which could be caught using the pool. This did put a big downer to my holiday.

Ship is beautiful and staff is great but not stopping in Havana ruined the trip. Cost an extra $1600 to take a 4 hour bumpy bus ride each way for an overnight in Havana. The other excursions were also expensive for what they were. Crew recommended not taking the included excursions if you wanted to see anything. Chose this cruise for the Havana Stay and that didn’t disappoint but MSC Opera did!
The ship looks good, clean and well kept public areas. Our cabin was ocean view fantastica experience, cabin was small but had plenty of storage space, bed was comfortable (still not sure fantastica means.)
