First Timer

Review for a Cuba Cruise on MSC Armonia

This was my first cruise. I chose MSC Armonia due to the itinerary and I am so glad that I did. The moment we stepped foot on the cruise ship, everybody seemed to be smiling and happy and the crewmembers were very helpful. We had one little hiccup, which was our drink vouchers. When we booked our cruise, it was under the “Fantastica” which included a book voucher for 12 free drinks. We did not ...

We have cruise 50 plus times on various lines (Carnival, RC, Princess, Cunard, Celebrity, Costa) and this will be our first on MSC. We were a little apprehensive about MSC after reading reviews and this being one of the oldest ships in the fleet. However all that went away as we checked in for our cruise. We arrived early at the port around 10:30am(we had an early flight). Check in was fast ...

Cuba and Key West ports from Port Canaveral. Very organized embarkation and disembarkation. Loved seeing Havana. We did our own tour witha private tour group and was very interesting and informative. Key West was great to see as well. We did the Trolley Tour through NCL to get an overview of the Key and then after, walked around on our own. We stayed in the Deck 6a cabins and was very ...

This was our 14th NCL cruise but our first on the Sky. I was joined by my wife, son (21), and daughter (18). I will first review the ship and then review Cuba. SKY First, a few words about the Sky. The staff was absolutely the most friendly out of any of the 20 cruises we have been on. They did not just welcome us to every venue, bar, and restaurant; they emphatically thanked us for ...

We had the time of our lives!! We (my wife and I) haven't been able to take a couples vacation in 20 years, it was worth the wait. We choose this cruise for 2 reasons the destination was Cuba, how many people can say they went to Cuba and secondly, we needed ship dates to fit our busy schedules, Norwegian met both of our needs. We enjoyed ourselves from the time we stepped on board, our ...

Fun cruise to Havana and Stirrup Cay

We chose this cruise mainly due to our time constraints and this was one that fit our schedule. We had a great time. Embarkation and disembarkation went very well. The ship was recently renovated and everything looked great. We traveled with our teen son. This is a small ship as are all the ships that can be accommodated in Havana. What it lacks in water slides and things for kids, it made up for ...

Paradise to Key West & Havana, Cuba

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Paradise

My sister and I wanted to see Cuba and I am glad we went when we did since it seems now restrictions for travel there may be put back in place very soon. The ship is older and smaller but went through renovations last year. Rooms were adequate in size but no sofa or table and a very small desk area. We ended up rearranging the 2 beds from side by side set up, which gave almost no clearance ...

We chose this cruise on the Carnival Paradise for one reason and one reason only - CUBA. The itinerary was exactly what we were looking for: only 5 days as we were leaving our 4 year old home w/ the grandparents and two ports Havana and Key West (which we also love). SHIP: We had not cruised on a Fantasy class ship in over 10 years, so I wasn't sure how we would like it compared to the ...

We did this cruise via a casino coupon and we upgraded to a Junior suite from an inside room . Mistake but I will talk about this in my cabin review. We were two couples in our early 40's and my single friend in her early 40's. The single friend was a first time cruiser and she loved it! The rest of us have been on 5 or 6 other cruises and thought it was up there in our favorite 2. We didn't go ...
