We chose this cruise for the itinerary, especially for Cuba. We had 3 chances to go ashore at Havana and it exceeded our expectations. The cabin was nice with large window and our cabin steward was excellent at all times. We had breakfast and lunch in the self=service restaurant, no problem there, except it was always so crowded. Our evening meal was in the Caravella restaurant. Our waiter ...
Cruise was better than I thought. Boat and cabins were spotless.Took cruise because of Havana.
Dining room food was okay. Buffet was good. Pizza was outstanding. Service in dining room was not good but staff tried their best and were very friendly.
Always found seating around buffet. Make sure to check out the rear of the ship as there are some lovely dining and relaxing spots.

Carnival Paradise has a mixture of pros and cons that make this an ok cruise; with all the ships at sea, I wouldn’t choose this ship again.
First I’ll start with the cons:
Shows felt more like a talent show. Average talent, horrible seating, bad sound system.
Food in the dining room was terrible. I ate most of my meals at the Pizza Pirate it Guys Burgers which is terribly ...
I was kind of worried after reading some of the past reviews so I was happy when I found out that the sky was returning from dry dock and that all the public areas had been refurbished to be like all the other ships. Unfortunately this caused a delay when trying to embark. We had a 10:00 check in time but we’re not able to board until 3:00. It was a mess. We ended up grabbing an Uber into Miami ...
My friend and I chose this cruise because of the overnight in Havana and the schedule. We are retired but our husbands still work, so we made it a girls’ cruise. This was her first multi-day cruise, and my 5th one, all previously on either HAL or Celebrity. Unfortunately our experience had its ups and downs, and I definitely will not choose NCL in the future.
Parking and baggage drop at the ...
My wife and I returned yesterday from a 7 night cruise on the MSC Armonia to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, and Havana, Cuba. We booked the cruise solely because of the visit to Cuba.
Our experience with MSC began at embarkation. I had received information in the pre-cruise packet sent to me electronically by MSC that our assigned embarkation time was 4:15. Having taken more than 20 ...
We chose this cruise for the itinerary - only Cuba with no unwanted stops at resort-like Caribbean islands. And on that score, we felt that we made the right decision. Cuba was absolutely fascinating, and we haven't stopped talking about what we learned.
As for the ship - we love the small size, the same as the small Oceana ships. The cabin was adequate, although the bathroom was a little ...
We liked the ship, the Star, very much -- size, etc. We had a suite and it was great -- large and very comfortable. We were very disappointed with the food and the service. The food was just average -- like a Princess or Royal Caribbean cruise ship. Certainly nothing special. The service in the restaurants and buffet was very spotty -- sometimes good but sometimes very lax. The staff seemed ...
As first time cruisers we were apprehensive at the point of booking as this cruise (Cuban Fusion and Pride of Panama) was costing much more than we would usually pay on a holiday but as we were travelling for a 65th birthday, we decided to stretch the budget for a holiday of a lifetime. Before we even travelled we had countless issues that UK based staff failed to deal with. Firstly, out ...
We mostly pick our cruises based on itinerary and value. Armonia offered an overnight stay in Havanna Cuba which was attractive to us. We found the price to be a good value for budget conscious cruisers like us. both embarkation and disembarkation were among the fastest of any ship we have ever sailed. No cue at all and the shore staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly. Rating A+
