Sun's last stop in Havana

Review for a Cuba Cruise on Norwegian Sun

I have cruised since 1975. This would be #23. It had been 10yrs since my last cruise. As a SENIOR I did not look for all the ship activities I would have looked for as my family was growing up; rock climbing flumes etc. This ship was ideal for my return to cruising. I love the smaller ship with it's lack of long lines; finding a quite spot; not fighting for a seat etc. Embarkation swift and ...

Missed out on another sold out business related cruise stopping in Cuba as one of the ports so I decided to do this last minute booked trip solo (paid double for my interior cabin which was midship and near to guest services & all activities) since I did all the research and was intrigued by the Vinales region of Cuba for a day trip. I also needed a mental getaway and break and this was perfect ...

Freestyle everything. Open bar. Upgrade to Cagneys for one night. Didn’t have to sign for anything. Staff outstanding. Cleanliness of ship outstanding. Very organized. Never waited for anything. Disembarkation well organized and quick. Can’t say enough positive about this cruise. Will do again. Used our balcony quite frequently. Did not go to shows. Did not do excursions. Took a taxi ...

My wife chose this cruise as she wanted to visit Havana, Cuba. We arrived the morning of departure but didn't check in at the boat until 1pm. Lines were just getting busy. They moved quickly and we were on board after about 15-20 minutes inside the terminal getting our room keys/info. Make sure to have all your paperwork/reservation info and your passports ready to go when you get in line. ...

My first cruise but my wife's seventh we chose this at fairly short notice because we wanted to visit Cuba. Getting on and off the ship were a breeze, we boarded early it took us a total of about 20-30 mins from when we entered the terminal until we were on the ship. Just please remember it's a small ship not a mega ship, a great place to unwind and de-stress, having said that there are enough ...

First Timer

Review for a Cuba Cruise on MSC Armonia

This was my first cruise. I chose MSC Armonia due to the itinerary and I am so glad that I did. The moment we stepped foot on the cruise ship, everybody seemed to be smiling and happy and the crewmembers were very helpful. We had one little hiccup, which was our drink vouchers. When we booked our cruise, it was under the “Fantastica” which included a book voucher for 12 free drinks. We did not ...

A visit to Cuba was on my bucket list. Open seating in the Seven Seas Restuarant was wonderful. The staff was very attentive especially Gretchen and Lee. I was very pleased. I went on two tours one in Key West and one in Havana, both booked through the ship. I enjoyed both. Angelia was my cabin steward and everything was clean and beautiful. Our cabin shower had a major leak and it was repaired ...

I decided to book MSC Armonia because of the itinerary and great price. After reading the reviews I hesitated about this cruise but for my surprise it exceeded my expectations. I had a great time with the Entertainment crew, they were awesome! Every night was a party, very happy, good vibes cruise. My 9 years old boy was in love with all the Youth activities, this girls were amazing and my kid ...

Great cruise on MSC Amonia

We selected this ship because it went to Cuba and our favorite (royal Caribbean) was booked out. I read the reviews of MSC and they were not very good. But we enjoyed the Armonia. Our cabin attendant was excellent - the dining room servers were also excellent. It is a small ship - therefore the entertainment options are smaller than on the bigger ships. Although the shows used ‘canned’ music ...

Great 30 hours in Cuba

Review for a Cuba Cruise on MSC Armonia

We liked the idea that in 7 nights there was only one full sea day with a 30 hours as our last stop in Havana. Havana was the highlight of the itinerary and probably the best port to visit in the Caribbean. The ship docks in the harbor and it's steps away from the old town galleries, bars and restaurants. The people are very entertaining and welcoming without being overwhelming. Although there ...
