I thought this would be the most pleasureable cruise to take.. Boy was I wrong!! Terrible, Terrible, Terrible This cruise was done on the last ship (Breakaway) before the corona virus shut down. Crew served the food at buffet. (Another princess druise was found to have 21 cases of corona virus. 19 of 21 infected were crew members not passengers. But the crew was instructed tofeed ...

We picked this for a cheapie weekend away, and to check out Pacific Explorer having traveled on Carnival Spirit twice for a total of 17 nights and RCI Voyager OTS for 9 nights. We have always had balconies and will continue to book them for longer cruises but as this was a shortie we decided to check out an ocean view stateroom instead. Lots of groups on board celebrating milestone birthdays, ...

I have not previously done a short cruise so when the price and timing worked in with our life we booked around 5 weeks from sailing in a twin berth ocean view level 8 right near the back. Embarkation Not sure why but they started a bit late but it was quite smooth once it got going, before getting on I had a good look at where our cabin was (we only found out days before) so when I got on I ...

A Cruise to Nowhere but Still a Trip!

So just a heads up - we won this cruise and it originally was supposed to go out to sea and then back. We were told that due to Port Laws it couldn’t do that but there is some question as to whether that was the fact or if the number of indivduals who requested day passes made it non-viable to go anywhere. At first we were not really impressed with this as we could not get off of the ship and ...

It was our wedding anniversary so we thought a short cruise would be a good way to celebrate. We had been on a P&O cruise before and so had high hopes about eveerything. Sadly we were very disappointed this time. Embarkation was pretty easy. No problems there. On board the ship there was a very unpleasant smell in some areas, like sewerage. Our room was small but ok as we only needed to ...

Excellent Vacation With Teens

We booked this cruise as this ship seemed to offer lots of entertainment and dining options. Our fourteen and seventeen year old daughters loved the teen club Entourage and made a group of friends that they spent every evening with. We loved the various restaurants and seldom visited the buffet, with the exception of my oldest daughter who went to the buffet multiple times a day. Cagney's was my ...

First of all, let me state that the crew, food, room and general amenities of the ship were all very good. However, the cruise itinerary was not what it should have been. The cruise was a 5 day from Baltimore to Bermuda. Understandably Royal Caribbean cannot control the weather. However, they can inform, explain, and give options to their customers. They do not do ...
