We chose this cruise for my son’s graduation from high school, and we wanted to get on a bigger ship this time. Although the Mardi Gras does have more restaurants than smaller ships, many of the restaurants are closed during the morning and afternoons, which means you are in a line with hundreds of people just for a Buffet The good shows are only at night and limited. The roller coaster was 15 ...
I sailed on the Caribbean Princess in late June of this year. We were deceived and lied to from getting on board the ship through the end and afterwards. They were understaffed. We received rude service and guest service did nothing to help with any of our problems. The ship had "technical difficulties" that resorted in AC not fully work on the ship and the ship not being able to travel at regular ...
I wanted to try Royal Caribbean and wanted an Eastern Caribbean cruise for my family of 30. Dates and itinerary worked out fine for us. We had a fantastic time and the week went by too quickly. There were many positives, but also some negatives. Embarkation process was well organized, smooth, and we were quite impressed. Our suite was nice and the rest of the family enjoyed Wide Spacious ...
We chose this cruise mostly based on itinerary as we have sailed the Caribbean many times but have never been to St Croix or Tortola. Despite the heading saying this was a 5 day it was a 7 day Eastern Caribbean cruise. This was our second cruise on the Adventure, the last one being about 6 1/2 years ago. The cruise itself we found to be quite boring. Most things are surrounded around childen and ...
We chose this cruise because we needed to be in Jacksonville for another event and decided it was convenient and we didn’t need to drive further south. If you’re from the north there are 2 things you need to know. 1. These people down here really still smoke a lot more and yes there is a designated area on board up above the pool outside but All Day it wafts right at you. 2. We went to a special ...
We are just back from our second sailing on Royal's Adventure of the Seas. My wife and I last sailed in September 2019 and loved the ship. It turned out our post pandemic return to cruising was also on Adventure. Four years ago it was to New England and Canada, this time it was to the Caribbean.
We were a group of 14 this time around. While I very much enjoy cruising with a group, I think I've ...
Worst vacation I have ever had- which is saying a lot considering my husband got COVID on our last vacation and we had to come home early. 4 of us (all adults) went on a cruise and collectively had over 12 cruises among us. This was the worst experience any of us have ever had on a cruise by a long shot. I do not recommend booking this cruise AT ALL. You will waste your money.
Saturday: It was ...
Overall, the cruise was pleasant and we set ourselves up with some very low expectations after reading previous reviews. The crew/staff did a fantastic job and many went well above expectations. The stairs and public area carpets looked new, the rooms were dated but overall were in good shape. Artwork throughout the ship has changed since our last RCCL cruise about 6 years ago and it was a nice ...
Cruising w/ RC used to be a first class experience for all. I feel they are now just trying to squeeze as many people on a ship and get every last penny out of their passengers.
First off, our balcony room on Deck 7 seemed smaller than other ships. When we arrived we found our room to be maybe 1/2 made, sheets off the bed, dirty linens found underneath the couch and speaking of the couch, the ...
This was my 5th sailing on Oasis and most probably my last.
Royal is definitely dropping the ball and they keep lowering the standards that have been so high for years. The food was mediocre at best and the service was also not up to the standards that Royal has been known for.
Cape Liberty port check in was super fast and organized for a sold out sailing. Friendly staff also helped. ...
