We sailed on a Christmas Cruise for the first time in 2023 on P&O Britannia, influenced by seeing Britannia docked alongside Carribean Princess (on which we were sailing) in February 2019. The crowd on the ship seemed to be having a great time, and the people we chatted to on the dockside recommended the ship.
So, the first dispapointment is that we discovered the "Great British Sailaway" has ...
Our friends had booked this cruise so we decided to join. We were excited to be part of Viva’s maiden voyage from its home port. New to NCL, we didn’t know what to expect. All we knew was that this was a premium class ship heading to many ports that we hadn’t experienced before. Let’s start with the bad: The glaring problem with this ship is the lack of space in areas that demand it. Buffet ...
We chose the Rotterdam 7 looking for a relaxing explore of the Caribbean! Here’s some information I think is valuable for others!
Cons:
- This ship seems more rocky than most. I was sea sick and lots of others including the crew were too! They can’t control the weather, but the Rotterdam seems a bit more rocky in winds than other boats.
- The Ft Lauderdale cruise port is a mess. Will ...
This was our first time on RCL having sailed Carnival, NCL, and Holland pre-Covid. From the easy embarkation and debarkation and everything in between, we had a wonderful time. The staff was so nice. The food was great and we really enjoyed the Aqua and Comedy shows. We booked ahead, but saw most everyone in the stand by lines get in. Surprised to see other reviewers commenting on nothing to ...
We chose this grand beautiful new ship as we wanted to try NCL and because it was brand new. The exterior is amazingly beautiful!! The inside is chopped up into way too many little bars, restaurants and many other spaces that you don’t even know what they are for. Very disjointed. With the size of the inside we were expecting large grand open spaces, but not at all. We are used to large beautiful ...
The ship itself was very nice, clean. The cruise on the other hand was a bit rocking heading to Cozumel. Which is why, I will say the service and food was a bit off from the usual, per previous sailings with Carnival. The dinner, even sea day brunch just eh this time around. The cabin, was an ocean suite and it was very nice and roomy. My wife and I enjoyed the closet space and she loved the tub. ...
We really enjoyed this ship and the size of it. It was perfect really. We were able to navigate and figure it all out on our 2nd day.
This was our 2nd RCI cruise and 15th overall. The staff on Mariner were outstanding and really helpful. Pool bar waiters, bar staff, casino Bar Staff and cabin stewards were amazing as well.
MOS was refurbished a few years ago and is in great shape. We saw ...
This was the first ever cruise for me and two of my close girl friends. We were so excited to get on a super nice cruise ship with the MSC Divina and spend the weekend cruising around the Bahamas. Unfortunately, the weather severely prevented us from doing so. We never ended up getting off of the boat for 4 days because the weather conditions were too terrible. This in itself was a huge ...
Let me start off saying I never leave reviews for anything but this definite needed one. I got sick twice from the shrimp cocktail I served once in the dining room and the other at butchers cut. I threw up everything I ate the entire cruise. On the first day I got a burger that was undercooked. I could barely eat anything because the food was not tolerable. It takes a lot for me to say that ...
We got to Key West but couldn’t dock as it was too windy. Nassau was cancelled completely due to 40mph winds and rain. Celebrity took the ship all the way to Cozumel and back. We all received OBC for the missed port fee taxes. Plus the activities and entertainment were really pushed up a notch. So much to see and do! I averaged over 14,000 steps a day and never went to the gym. Every where we went ...
