I am currently on the Jewel of the Seas on the TA cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Southampton.
We flew to Miami on the 4th April with American Airlines. This was the first time flying with them and I was very impressed with the whole experience. There was more leg room than with other airlines we had used in the past and the boarding process was much more organised. The airline crew were very ...
DW and I have been on dozens of cruises over the past 40+ years and now that we are retired and blessed to afford more luxury travel options, we have started trying out the luxury cruise lines starting with Seabourn. We booked the Quest transatlantic crossing from Miami to Las Palmas sailing on March 24. We booked with our preferred travel agent into a Verandah Suite and in December we accepted ...
After reading many bad reviews about Arvia,we had mixed feelings about getting onboard, but we always say let's make our cruise the best we can make it what ever happens. We have been on plenty of cruises with different cruise lines and plenty with P and O.
We have to say we had a fantastic time ,yes it wasn't perfect ,but we didn't experience anything to really moan about.Food was of a good ...
Party:
2 adults aged 30 and 64, previously cruised three times with Marella (Dream, and Explorer 2 x2), with NCL 4 times (Jade, Breakaway x2 and Prima), and 3 other cruises in the early 00s on now defunct lines. We don't have any disabilities, we didn't use the casino and we didn't travel with kids, so we can't comment on these. If you have read my reviews before you'll know that we cruised ...
Another superb cruise on the Azamara Quest, we were in a club continent suite this time as the bathroom in a veranda room is very small , our suite was very nice lots of storage and we were able to put the suitcases under the bed. The company has changed hands since our last voyage and it is noticeable in the cuts they are making considering the guests on board we’re 54% return cruisers they ...
We booked a late deal which for the length of cruise was a great price. Slightly worried re an inside cabin however it proved better than port hole/window of the past due to clever use of mirrors creating space. Deck 9 aft amazingly quiet. The turn down service was a luxury with towel animals. Our towels were always thick. We didnt bother with a premium drinks package as our usual drinks were well ...
I travelled as a solo woman in her mid 40’s. I chose this cruise as it wasn’t much more expensive than booking a land based holiday, the comparing solo supplements etc.
I flew in on the Saturday with Tui, but it was on an airplane ran by Titan airways, so P&O contracted to TUI who contracted out again to Titan. Made the thank you announcements quite long!
Flight was comfortable and plane ...
I went on this cruise with relatives who were celebrating a big anniversary and I was in a solo studio. This was my first time on the Epic and I had a great cruise but my experience was likely very different from others who sailed on this ship recently. Reasons for this may be because this cruise had fewer people on it than others recently and it seemed as though there was a lot of new staff. I ...
What a Beautiful ship even if the central atrium is a little plain by comparison to the competition, the ship was kept spotlessly clean and in nice condition, we found the food on board to be very good by and large, although the main dinning halls menu could feel a bit repetitive, The Epicurean was well worth the extra money as was Shindu, we had mixed results from the Keel & Cow with a couple of ...
We had previously sailed on Azura in 2010 when she was brand new and after 14 years there was quite a difference in the state of the ship. That said she was clean and the staff were always around cleaning and polishing.
Our cabin was clean and functional although the lack of USB points was an issue as we could only plug our devices in where the kettle was situated above the fridge.
We didn't ...
