Excellent Cruise

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Sirena

This is my review of the Oceania cruise on the Sirena ship from Miami to the Canary Islands that lasted 2 weeks from 27 March to 10 April 2024. The food for all 3 meals plus afternoon tea, service, both cabin, reception and dining, and entertainment were excellent. In particular, the cruise director, Leslie Howard, was fantastic. The ship was in great shape; it was very well maintained. It ...

Excellent Transatlantic Cruise

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Azamara Quest

Excellent cruise from Rio to Lisbon. Very friendly staff. Atmosphere is upscale-casual: Few men wore sport jackets at any time. Ship was about 3/4 full, with almost all passengers being in their fifties and up. There were no children. Large mix of nationalities (US, UK, Canada, Australia, etc.). It got a bit rocky towards the end of the cruise and the captain chose to skip the Madeira port of ...

To be honest I did worry about having an inside cabin on a 17 day transatlantic cruise. BUT I was so wrong to even think that I felt like royalty the staff I must mention their names ! Yatish, squid and anchor bar service amazing happy to always help always remembered my name and cabin also Jacinto same bar always so helpful, Angela in the really lovely more personal nonnas restaurant once again ...

Carefree Cruising to Canary Islands and Madeira

Review for a Canary Islands Cruise on Mein Schiff

Having been on various cruise lines (Holland America, AIDA, Princess, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean) this was our first experience with Tui Mein Schiff aboard the Mein Schiff 1. To sum up the cruise in one word: carefree. I have never had such an easy booking process to start with, having filled in the details via app, you basically have the boarding pass on your mobile before you even arrive at ...

An entertaining trip with an entertaining Captain

Although our cruise choices are by no means exclusively with Saga, we chose this cruise as we have enjoyed several cruises with them in the past and this one particularly suited us having recently had a few health issues to cope with. We're never quite convinced that Saga's all-inclusive offering is the value for money they claim it to be but the fact that (nearly) everything is paid for in ...

Review for a Canary Islands Cruise on Azura

This was my first cruise, I originally booked as a solo traveller but a friend asked to join me, I booked directly with P&O so changing my booking was really easy. From start to finish the trip was well organised, P&O sent regular updates and lots of pre-cruise information. The food was great, with lots of variety, the entertainment was varied and to a good standard and the crew were awesome, in ...

Excellent Service All The Way

Please dismiss the ' moaners and groaners ' reviews, they are totally out of order. Jet2 P&O charter flight from Manchester was good, on arrival in Tenerife one does need to collect luggage, and it's a short walk to the coach, it then arrives in your cabin very quickly. Coach transfer around 45 minutes, embarkation very quick we were on the ship within 5 minutes. ( For a very special treat ...

We came back yesterday having spent a couple of days in Barcelona and then a 12-night cruise on the Celebrity Infinity sailing to Lanzarote, Tenerife, La Palma, Casablanca, Tangier, Cadiz, Valencia, Barcelona. The Infinity is the very first ship we ever sailed on, and now with many cruises under our belts, we were looking forward to seeing her again. Last time we had a standard balcony stateroom ...

We choose this cruise as a Christmas and New Year getaway. Even though we had an inside cabin, it was very comfortable and suited our needs. We wish to thank Betty (Housekeepng) for looking after our room and brilllant service. The food in the Cafe on Deck 10 was very good with many thanks to Miriam for making us so welcome. We don't do Restaurants or such as we are not into big ...
