This was my first time on NCL's bigger ships. Because it was a New England and Canada cruise, the majority of the people were inside. It seemed very crowded to me. But I guess if the weather was nice, all those people would have been outside!! It was a nice ship. The only thing I did not care for was that the casino on deck 7 (I think) was open to decks 6 & 8 because of the beautiful light ...
Given rich African/Black cultural traditions and experiences in Halifax NCL needs to offer related excursions. We did the research and planned an outstanding day by visiting:
1 Africvile Museum with an outstanding presentation by Brittany Vaillancourt
2, the Black Cultural Centre,
We met Johnson on the evening of September 24, when we realized the mix up over our Savor Restaurant ...

This is a great cruise itinerary. I highly recommend it, even though rough seas kept us from visiting Prince Edward Island.
Of course, the staff on the ship are great. Cruise ship staff never cease to amaze me. We like this size ship; not super small, but not huge.
The food was wonderful. I love the big salad bowls in the Lido. We had friendly and attentive staff in the dining room. ...
Introduction
We previously sailed on the Escape in 2016. When we saw the fall colors itinerary on this ship, we decide to book the Escape again. We have traveled on several cruise lines, but have the most cruises on NCL and MSC.
Embarkation
We arrived at the port by 10 a.m. Our flight arrived early, and we decided to go to the port early. This was a good idea. They opened security a few ...
Enjoyed this cruise especially the cooler weather. First time on a ship this large, wasn’t as difficult to navigate and deal with the crowds as I thought. Enjoy all our excursions to Portland, Bar Harbour, my favorite, St. John and Halifax. I would not recommend the Hop on Hop off in Halifax. We had to walk most of the route as the busses were so crowded we could not get a seat. We finally ...
We chose this cruise for the locations. It takes the full 14 days of cruising to see NE/Canada. Celebrity offered this round trip from Cape Liberty. This is so much easier than the 10 day I had done before where it was NYC to Quebec City and then you have to find your own way back home.
Let's start with the pre-cruise experience:
We decided to stay at the Hilton Newark Penn Station for ease ...
this cruise package was sandwiched between Southampton to New York New York to Southampton on Queen Mary2 which is our favourite cruise choice.although very different We did have a nice holiday on the celebrity summit we are particularly interested in the theatre and music and found for the most part acts and bands were very good there was always lots going on to very late. The entertainment ...
We sailed the New England-Canada route. Because of the weather we were unable to tender into Bar Harbor. Activities and dining were changed seamlessly. The crew was accommodating as their time off had been changed. Crew members, on the whole, went out of their way to greet as they passed by. Dining room servers were attentive and seemed to enjoy sharing stories of themselves and their homelands. ...
Always wanted to see this area in the fall. Should have waited until October, no colors. Embarkation and disembarkation were great. The ship was clean, beautifully decorated and well appointed. Our cabin, a balcony on Deck 12, was laid out very well, the beds comfy, the bathroom a wonderful surprise (roomy and a great shower). The entertainment was top notch and by far the best we have ever ...
