Review for a World Cruise Cruise on MSC Poesia

We are currently on this terrible cruise Over 500 people on board have signed a petition protesting the way MSC are treating us. 1. So many sea days Change of itinerary increasing itinerary to an extra 20 sea days, less port times, and no compensation for these changes or refunds of tax and port fees. As compared to other cruise companies such as Cunard, princess, costa etc who have ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Poesia

MSC said the ship was refurbished in 2023 and they must be talking about the exterior of the ship. The public stairs lot dated with the teal and chocolate motif. The cabins are either navy or bordello red. The furniture in the cabin is worn, sun bleached and dated, think 90’s. Dining options are limited. There is the main dining room offering a selection of reoccurring average to say the best ...

Never again

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on MSC Poesia

We chose this world cruise excited to visit some of our bucket list destinations. While visiting Egypt became impossible due to conflict in the region we were still thrilled we would be going to Rhodes. But not to be. More than half the cruise has been made up of sea days with substandard destinations. Food has bern appalling with regular absence of fresh fruit, salad and now no coffee available ...

Do not i repeat, do not book an norwegian/oceana cruise. You have been warned we are on the around the world cruise currently. the cruise is 196 days from miami florida to new york. It is utterly a complete disappoint. If i was to write every disappointment, we have experienced up to now it would be 10 pages. We are going to try to condense it. First, they advertises the best cuisine at sea. That ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Explora I

We chose Explora because of their aspiration to be a lifestyle brand and I read other reviews saying children were not a problem on Explora - YMMV but wanted to let you know they were a problem on this cruise, and there are no policies in place that allow the staff to curb this issue (they recognise it as a problem but feel powerless to intervene). Perhaps it is just our sailing (29 December from ...

We're Vikings! We explore!

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Viking Star

That catchphrase is used by Viking, and it's apropos! We explored everything --- the ship, the food, the learning opportunities aboard and ashore. We thought it was quite a great cruise -- the ship is modern, with great ambiance, terrific crew from over 50 countries, amazing food. We enjoyed this being a cruise for adults (no kids under 18), and with no casino to have to go through, and no ...

50th Anniversary Cruise

We chose this cruise so we could celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary in a special way. This was our first cruise. I would have liked at least two days at each port for further sightseeing. Half a day was just too short. We ate primarily at the World Cafe. I can control what I eat and how much I eat better at a buffet. I don't eat fish and felt there was an over abundance of fish featured ...

I've sailed with Viking before and honestly, won't cruise with anyone else. The ship is marvelous. The support before and during the cruise is professional and total. The staff are unfailingly helpful and pleasant. The excursions well planned and organized. A well written daily newsletter (Viking Daily) provided information about all the goings on for the next day so you have time to decide what ...

The ultra all inclusive service by Saga was the main attraction when booking , transport door to door , insurance , excursions were excellent . On arrival the time from being dropped off at the terminal to eating lunch in the open sitting Grill was less than 20 minutes . Booking the included alternative dinning was no problem booking the 3 venues for out 14 day cruise . The food without ...

Canary Islands with Saga

I am writing this from a disabled passenger's point of view. We chose this company because of its reputation for caring for those who do not move so easily. The taxi arrived at the promised time and we loaded it up with our cases and aids. The journey from Cheltenham to Portsmouth has an estimated time of around two hours. The morning was very wet and unpleasant. Shortly after we set off I ...
