Pleasant 7-day cruise in the fall

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Serenade of the Seas

Overall, the cruise was great with interesting and scenic ports. The ship offered several communal spaces with lots of activities. Great food and service! Biggest complaint was timing and/or lack of evening shows. Pros: Good Windjammer buffet but would like more variety at lunches. Service in MDR was outstanding. Initial cabin requests were handled quickly and our room steward was efficient and ...

We recently embarked on a 7-night Canada & New England cruise on the NCL Escape, departing from New York City on October 15, 2023. We had read some negative reviews prior to our trip, which left us with apprehensions, but I'm thrilled to share that our experience was nothing short of exceptional. I promised myself I would write a detailed and positive review for those like me, looking for updated ...

Hi All, This was our first NCL cruise and choose it because of the itinerary. Everything went as expected wrt ports and ship excursions were of a high quality (possibly a bit chaotic on the pier especially in Halifax but as it was hailing this could be expected - would have liked NCL to advise passengers before disembarking as many would have waited rather than clogging the terminal to ...

Crystal is BACK with all we missed, and more

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Crystal Serenity

Crystal was our first choice of cruise line before Covid, and in fact, we were on Crystal Symphony when Covid stopped us from landing in many ports before finally ending up in Singapore. Even during that experience waiting to find out when and where we could disembark, Crystal staff all the way up to the Captain kept us up to date with the news and port prospects. Crystal Symphony was the most ...

We choose this particular itinerary and cruise to see the Fall colors of the St Lawrence River. We boarded the ship for a round trip adventure out of Kingston, Ontario and our cruise did not disappoint. The Cruise Director and staff went out of their way to insure the comfort and pleasure of the guests was first and foremost. We were well fed with fresh meals and ingredients three times daily and ...

Currently nearing the end of our cruise on the Caribbean. Had to state that the new upgraded internet with Hughes satellite was the best we’ve experienced in all our years of cruising. It worked seamlessly and allowed us to do whatever we wanted. Also a tip of the hat to Princess on their use of technology onboard. The medallion system for us, worked beautifully. We have a window suite which is ...

First cruise since Covid, our first cruise with Princess. What a wonderful experience! No hassle embark and disembark process in Brooklyn with our “Medallion” digital wearable device, which also was used throughout our cruise for all our activities. It made our cruise and excursions seamless! The staff at all levels on this cruise went above and beyond to provide help and comfort with ...

Fair warning, this is a LONG and DETAILED review. I read lots of reviews but at 55, I have found to take most of them with a grain of salt. Everyone is different so you need to take away from reviews specifics that apply to you. I do not take any stock in reviews that make negative comments for things that are completely out of control by nature and certain things. People who complain that a ...

We wanted to see the fall foliage and get back to sailing on Crystal. The cruise exceeded our expectations. The ship has been updated and was in great shape. Our Junior Penthouse was comfortable, well-appointed and filled with every luxury we wanted. The service on Serenity was top-notch. From the moment we boarded the ship we felt like were home. The embarkation was smooth and seamless. We ...

Longest cruise, Yacht Club didn't disapoint

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on MSC Meraviglia

I'd tried YC for the first time on a 7 day cruise in February, so new what to expect. This was DHs firs time in the top decks, and the food, service and views didn't disappoint. When I'm on holiday, I do like to hear foreign languages, and even though we were leaving from Yew York, this ship didn't disapoint. We were really fortunate with the weather and were able to use the hot tub on the YC ...
