Value for money but just the food on 15/F is a bit stagnant

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Valiant Lady

Good points - Had several surprises once onboard, like upgrading to a balcony, offer for an onboard spend, Gunbae Korean BBQ, etc. The Italian restaurant, Extra Virgin, was the best I reckon in terms of quality of food and services. Staff were very friendly and helpful, in particular all their smiles were impressive. The circus show was excellent and inspiring. Inclusive wifi and tips were ...

Fantastic Weekend on a Beautiful Ship

We spent 3 nights aboard the Valiant Lady cruising from Portsmouth to Zebrugge and back. Myself and my husband travelled with another 6 couples - friends and family. We had an amazing time, such good fun and a relaxing break for all! The ship was beautiful and every inch of it was designed impeccably. The restaurants were busy with a great atmosphere, excelled service and delicious food. Plenty ...

The Virgin Voyages concept needs a lot of work before it is fit for purpose - disappointing

Our experience on this 3 night Chanel cruise to Zeebrugge was similar to that posted by several other people - and that was without the dramas on the Med cruise. From the chaotic embarkation, to the universally cold food, the incomprehensible menus and dodgy IT, the reality of the 'Virgin Voyages way' was far removed from the promised experience. If they want to 'turn the cruise experience on ...

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Norwegian Dawn

I expected a GREAT cruise, especially to dock in Amsterdam, Bruges, and Paris (though of course not those exact cities). I was okay with Halifax, Reykjavik, Belfast, and Dublin, but little did I know. First, The crew were exceptional from the staff in the buffet, to the bartenders, to the stewards (male and female). Always smiling, always helpful, always friendly. The food in the dining room ...

The most unorganized, unprepared and uninformed cruise ever.

We were booked for three, back to back cruises. Cruise #1 departed N.Y.C. with less than 1000 guests aboard. Initially, the lack of crowding made for pleasant sailing. It soon became evident that there was a problem aboard. The staff were masked 100% of the time, and seemed a little "distant" in their interactions with guests. We docked in Halifax, no problems. We enjoyed 4 sea days and an ...

Lovely ship! Great Stewards and phenomenal culinary staff

The cruise started off normally and was fine to start off. From day one the food on board, including the pay restaurants, was nothing short of sensational! I cant compliment the culinary staff enough. I would like to state that our steward as well as most stewards went over and above on this cruise to make our long stay as pleasant as possible! The weather wasn't the best for most of the trip but ...

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Viking Orion

My spouse and I chose the Viking Cruises “Pacific Coast Explorer” itinerary as our first sailing after the pandemic eased. Our last cruise in 2019 had been a Viking cruise to Norway, and we had been more than impressed with the ship (the Star), and the staff, food, ports, and onboard entertainment, and amenities. So we did not hesitate to book another Viking vacation, and having Viking handle ...

Crusing was great, missed seeing Santa Barbara

I choose this cruise because Viking is my favorite cruise line and I wanted to cruise but not leave the United States. This cruise met my criteria. Viking cabins are very comfortable and the people that care for them are top notch. Food which is an important part of cruising is always good, sometimes exceptional. I had one unfortunate experience where I had ordered Eggs Benedict in the ...

We have taken several Viking Cruises, both river and ocean. For this trip we booked one of the explorer suites, quite pricey and our best friends booked another of the explorer suites. Check in was awful as the staff could not make the card processor work despite several managers trying to help. No one to explain COVID instructions prior to boarding. We were told the explorer suites were available ...

Cruise was picked by a family member. The itinerary looked and was, good. Boarding in Manhattan, with ports in Canada, N. Ireland, Ireland, Wales, U.K. and France. Problems, however, started before even boarding the ship. With a boarding window around 10:30 a.m., arrived on time, and was told that special paperwork had to be filled out because of the Canadian port and that there was a cost of ...
