This was our first Oceania cruise. We were tempted by the new ship and the itinerary. We were certainly not disappointed by the ship nor the itinerary although the itinerary was somewhat spoilt by the weather which affected a couple of stops. We have sailed on many lines but this was our first on Oceania. When we saw this cruise, on their brand new ship, we knew it was time to give them a try.

The ship was nice and the food was very good. Our stateroom was well laid out with a starboard balcony. The workers were super friendly. We enjoyed five of the six ports. The shows that we were able to get into were excellent, but there were nights when we had nothing to do because we couldn't get reservations and the bars were packed.

Previously sailed other MSC ships with good to excellent experiences. Happy to find this ship sailing from NYC. Unfortunately, the cruise was plagued by what we experienced as poor management planning, execution and equally poor customer service on deck 5.

First time cruising with MSC as we are Elite Members with Princess but thought a change was in order. Perhaps a bit spoiled so keep that in mind!

Just off the cruise today and my overriding feeling is that this could have been a lot better experience with not a lot of effort from ncl. The issues being Embarking and disembarking at MCT. Thousands of cruisers coming off the ship mixing with loads of cruisers arriving and everyone squeezing through a narrow exit. We loved the crew. Everyone was very helpful and very pleasant. The ship was average but it does need some work. Very limited outlets in the rooms. Our bathroom stunk from floor drains that are never cleaned. These should be cleaned and sanitized regularly.
