The nature of my job makes it hard for me to take long periods of time off, so at the first of the year I planned a nine day period over my birthday and make plans later. About 4 months ago, my girlfriend and I decided we wanted to try a cruise. I had never been on one and it had been several years since the only one she had been on. It being the middle of summer, and us living in the western ...
We had a great time with the family. The Royal IQ app needs a lot of work and was difficult to make dinner plans since I could not view the calendar of our events. Still, the restaurant staff did and outstanding job of fitting all 10 of us in at our convenience. I could have made reservations had I been able to see my calendar in the app.
The food as fantastic and the staff extremely friendly. ...

The service staff on the Summit was outstanding, a distinctive improvement over previous cruises on this ship. We submitted written compliments for several of the crew. Our cabin steward was excellent and made ever effort to make our time enjoyable in our cabin.
The quality of the entertainment on the Summit has dropped significantly. The comedians in the Theater were occasionally humorous, ...
I sailed with my family and some friends for the first time on the Summit in late July. We've sailed on Norwegian and Carnival before, and enjoyed them very much. We wanted to try Celebrity this time because we've heard of their "premium food" and "classy ambiance"; though we couldn't really tell why people said it.
The Bayonne port is quite nice. It was quiet and moved much quicker than the ...
We chose Bermuda because my husband had never been there, and also because we were able to drive to NJ from VA, this being a last minute booking. We were in a Concierge Class cabin #8050. While Celebrity touts Elite member benefits, as well as Concierge Class benefits, we found these to be somewhat lacking on our cruise. Priority embarkation was non-existent, main dining room reservations were a ...
We were looking for a quick summer time get away. We took this very same cruise on Enchantment 7 years ago. A short train ride and we were here.
We chose the Grand Suite this time - 8516. Lovely, spacious, in need of some TLC.
First the bathroom. Two sinks, a great choice. At sea the water never gets cold or cool, it always starts luke warm. One sink was repaired and the repair doesn't ...
We choose this cruise for a couple of reasons. First, it was a cruise that would actually be on our 53rd anniversary. and second it was out of Baltimore. It made it a no brainer since it was Royal Caribbean and we had cruised with them before.
The crew on Royal Caribbean are always friendly and more than willing to do what ever it takes to make sure you have a wonderful vacation experience. ...
I'm trying to understand, from previous readings, how there can be such in difference in how people are writing reviews. Others are saying food was deplorable, crew was unfriendly, etc etc, but then gave it 4 stars. 4 stars, but then said they wouldn't take this cruise again. And, asking what happened to the chocoholic buffet, when all cruise lines stopped doing this many years ago. I, like most ...
