We choose this cruise because we live in Manhattan and loved the idea of taking a cab to our vacation. So easy! The embarkation process was very smooth. Debarkation took longer because of customs, but not too bad.
This is a good middle of the road cruise. There was a nice mix of people on this boat. We went in August so there were more kids than I usually like on my vacay, but most of them ...
Cruise was great. The only issue we had was on food. As vegetarians, the options were very limited. It was sad to see them offer Salads and Desserts as options. Also, we had reservations for two days but sadly, when we went there, we were told to join the general queue, with about half an hour wait. Wish someone would look into these.
The rooms were clean and with two teenage kids, we did ...
This was our first cruise. The Grandeur seemed a bit old but that didn't interfere with our experience! Cabins are really cozy and neat and the stateroom staff was so nice! They take the time to know your names and stuff. However, the stateroom bathroom had a funny smell. It didn't smell bad; it smelled like equipment. The buffet wasn't top-class stuff, but it was still really good and the kitchen ...
Great trip, great food, great boat. We took a 5 day trip from Baltimore with Bermuda as the only port of call. The room was clean, the room attendant was very nice, prompt and visited our room to clean up several times a day. The entertainment was top notch with several hysterical comedians and a decent dance/singing show. The food in the main dining room was outstanding and the buffet (for ...
We chose this cruise as it is driving distance from our home. We thought it would be a wind down to the summer before we take a fall cruise.
I was amazed as the number of children beings it was a week before school.
Seemed to be families including grand parents.
First stop Bermuda, not much time there. arriving at 2p.m. and leaving the next day at 3p.m.
very hot and humid
Nassau ...
Our room attendant, and our waiters in the Grand were outstanding .The food in the Grand and Windjammer was excellent and a wide variety nightly. The Anthem was always clean inside and out We had a balcony on deck 11 Overall it was near the forward elevator which was always clean. It was comfortable and quiet for being close to the elevators. They could have had different shows. The dancers were ...
Choose this cruise for the length and port. Couple in our 30's traveling w/ both sets of parents in their 60's-70's and two kids (ages 4, 8). This is my 7th cruise, 4th on RCL, (did 2 on NCL and 1 on CCL). We always felt 7 nights weren't enough and it was nice to have the extra two nights. Day 3-4 come so quick that on a 7 night cruise, i'd begin getting sad the cruise was half over. On this ...
This was our 11th cruise with RCCL and the first time on Anthem, sailing 9 days from August 17 - 26th. However, this was our 35th cruise all together because we have sailed with many different cruise lines since 2002.
The ship was beautiful and very clean. The staff and crew were very friendly and happy to be part of the Anthem of the Seas. You could see they genuinely liked their jobs and ...
The ship overall was great. A total of 24 family members made this cruise and everyone of us had a great time. My wife and I went all out and booked a Royal Loft Suite with the Royal Genie service ($$$$$). This was a great choice! The Suite was very roomy and the room attendants keep on top of everything. We can not say enough great things about our Royal Genie ( Derick ). He made the 9 day ...
My husband and I sailed on the Celebrity Summit recently. We enjoy sailing to Bermuda out of New Jersey as a no fly cruise. Boarding in Bayonne went smoothly. Except for the fact that many of the staff at the location do not seem clear on directing the passengers. We were suite guests, and Elite Plus, but the agent directed us to the general boarding line. No big deal as we were early and no ...
