Overall it was a good cruise. A fair balance of port days (4) vs. days at sea (5). Food was always good (4/5), and service was exceptional (5/5). We were part of a group that selected this ship, and we knew it was an older ship refurbished once years ago. We were on deck 6 and I usually select deck 8 and higher so expecting alot of noise from Promenade on Deck 5. On May 14, 2023, my wife and I boarded the Norwegian Joy for a trip from Manhattan to Bermuda and back, with two nights docked at the Royal Naval Dockyard.
