We enjoyed this cruise very much. Food, service, cleanliness, almost everything was perfect.
This is our 5th cruisse, 4th on NCL, and 2nd on the Escape.
We had a spa mini suite this trip. The room was very nice, but no larger than a regular balcony room. The bathroom is bigger with a much larger shower. That was very nice.
Having a spa room gave us access to the Thermal Suite. ...
We sailed a repositioning transatlantic cruise.
Pros
This is my 43rd cruise and I haven’t been on a cruise I haven’t absolutely loved. This cruise was no exception. The staff were eager to make sure we were happy, especially our superior cabin steward, Martin.
This particular cruise they were very generous with the “elite” 5 to 7 pm cocktail time.
We had an obstructed view balcony ...
My teenage daughter and I took this cruise because she was on school break. We like to cruise out of NYC because it's only a four hour drive from our house. Driving in and out of NYC was no problem. Traffic is not bad at all on Sunday mornings. We parked a few blocks away from the cruise terminal, thus cutting our parking costs in half (relative to parking at the terminal). Embarkation was easy. ...
We decided to take this cruise at the last minute. Fortunately, the only cabin available was a concierge class balcony cabin, 1065 Deck 10, and we loved it. It was close to the elevators and our room was quiet at night. We never sailed concierge before on Celebrity because I really didn't need the extra services. Depending on the cabin price, I am not sure I would pay much extra, plus the daily ...
Embarkation - Entering the terminal by car was a mess. There was no signage or guides to help you through. I have been on enough cruises to know that it is customary to drive in, unload bags with the porter and proceed to the car parking lot. So here, you pass the entrance to the parking first and the bag drop was at the end of the line. Then we had to exit, loop around the block in heavy traffic ...
I chose Norwegian just to try something different, as i have been a Royal Caribbean cruiser. I was told from a friend of mine that she loves Norwegian, so my husband & i decided to try a different cruise line. We usually travel in September, However we traveled this year for our anniversary in April & was very overwhelmed with the amount of children on board. We did not realize that it was spring ...
I am a diamond level on RCL and my husband was disappointed when I couldn't book the Anthem because I found the best price on the escape. I booked three sail away balconies for my family. My family including my husband who can be difficult to please were blown away by the entertainment on the escape. I must admit I adore the ice shows and water diving shows on RCL but the entertainment on the ...
Celebrity Crusies after a 4 years of sailing Cunard.
Since I left Celebrity Cruises in favor of Cunard Line four years ago, I came across a very good offer from Celebrity for a Transatlantic Cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Southampton this April on board the Silhouette.
I thought that a good opportunity to try my once favorite Cruise Line again!
The main reason for me switching to Cunard ...
Getting on the ship was so easy! The port was very easy to mangle. When we first boarded my first impretion was... this cruise is going to be AMAZING! It is so beautiful and the technology aboard is miraculous. First lets start with the Bionic Bar. It is a robot bar and it is so cool. The robots actually look so cool and it is very sanitary as well. The virtual balcony cabins are something cool ...
Picked the Anthem for a second go around after falling in love with the ship last year.
We are a family of 4 with 13 and 15 y.o. boys who were off for Spring Break. We are Emerald status folks with prime designation in Casino. Tons of families on this one. I'm told there were 1,400 kids on this packed cruise of just over 4,000 folks. We stayed on adjoining balcony cabins on the 12th deck ...
