This was our 3rd cruise with NCL with the 1st in 2019 on the Escape and we loved it. My mom and step dad loved NCL and have cruised with them for many years so that was our reason for choosing the line.
Went on the Pearl last year and enjoyed our experience.
This cruise on the Joy was not a joy at all.
The food: We never eat a meal at the buffet, but will grab a quick, small bite for ...
We recently completed our Second Cruise i With MSC on the Meravigilla to Bermuda. Our first cruise was with the Divinia in the Caribbean. It was wonderful. The boat was wonderful, We were able to choose our room, the entertainment outstanding and the food was none like we had experienced with a cruise line We received wonderful incentives . Balcony room, On board credit and Free all inclusive ...
The Liberty of the Seas could not be less disability friendly. There is no room whatsoever in any of the dining areas on this ship for someone with a mobility issue. Only one of the theaters was handicap accessible. The elevators are a disgrace and all had issues during the trip with no repairs made, whatsoever. Even if they were all working, I could not get on in a timely manner before the ...
I’ll start with the positives
(1) the employees were all courteous, helpful and professional. Mscs best asset is their people
(2) it’s clean; and
(3) the food was good. There were so many bad reviews about the food but we found it good
However- embarking was a nightmare. We waited, standing, for close to 2 hours in the longest line I have ever seen to check in. After 2 hours when ...
We have always traveled Carnival. So when we found a cruise going to Bermuda leaving from Va. We thought GREAT!!! Wrong, instead of Bermuda we had to go see the Baha mamas!! This was the worst experience I have had from flying on American > That's another Story. The cruise was a rough cruise. From them getting my Cruise agreement as far as how much cash we got and down to unlimited drinks in ...
This was my first Carnival cruise. I’ve cruised with many other lines but since the Magic is ported here in Norfolk I figured I would give it a shot. I am highly disappointed with Carnival.
1. 90% of the staff seemed upset/annoyed when requesting a drink at the bar or ordering food at your table. I felt like I was a burden to almost the entire staff save for one or two.
2. The plan of the ...
We've been with 4 other cruise lines (Royal Caribbean, Carnival, NCR, and Disney), so when a friend recommended MSC to us, we figured why not give it a try. HUGE MISTAKE we made!
Every ship and cruise line have their own pros and cons, but never one this bad where everything and I do mean EVERYTHING is bad!
1) MSC Website - Super hard to use. Even though I booked the reservation after I ...
Itinerary
- Chose this itinerary because of the featured port - Bermuda; the only port we didn't visit was: BERMUDA
- We fully understand that the change was made in the name of safety
- Contingency plan was wholly inadequate - an extra day in Bahamas, an added day in Miami
- Having been to Bahamas before, there was nothing of interest to do there again
- Miami was framed as a ...
Never in my entire life have I seen so many old people in one place. If you are younger and going to have fun with people in their 20’s or younger this is definitely not the cruise line for you. Because the ship is mostly all elderly people most of the activities are for old people. Ship was so boring spend most days taking naps till the one good event of the day if there was any. Most cruise ...
In summary: Too many guests on the ship, not enough staff, and riff raff clientele with no etiquette.
Embarkation times were long and a little disorganized coming out of Pier 88 in NYC. Debarkation was a disaster - we had a family of 4 in our group (with kids age 4 and 7) - it took them 2 hours to get off the boat because of gangway issues. One person in our group bought an expensive handbag ...
