Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Carnival Sunrise

This ship was recently renovated and rebranded as the sunrise from the previous triumph. The renovations were nice and elegant. The food was great, entertainment was spectacular, especially Mikey Gibson as a cruise director. He was full of energy and so much fun. Perfect for a cruise that had very upset passengers due to hurricane humberto changing the whole itinerary from 3 days in bermuda to ...

We chose this cruise mainly for the itinerary. Bermuda was one place we looked forward to visit and an overnight in Charleston was an extra plus, as there was much we enjoyed seeing in this historic city. We enjoyed the old style Carnival ship with the atrium lobby and full length glass elevators, something that Carnival is mistakenly removing from its new ships. We feel The New Light Tower ...

We went on this cruise to go to Bermuda. To start our cabin was 9692 right across from the service elevators. There was noise and the cleaning cart outside our door everyday! We booked our room through RC and was told by the travel agent was a great room! We tried to change rooms but were told they were sold out. The food was not good! So disappointed in the windjammer for breakfast. We ...

We chose this cruise to spend a few extra days in NYC and we hadn’t been to Bermuda before. It was just my husband and I. We have been on several NCL cruises before and had no complaints with them. We were spent a significant portion of our time onboard with the art auctions as that was our primary reason for the cruise. The condition of the ship overall was somewhat rundown. For example, ...

Heard good things about Norwegian Escape. Have always been loyal to royal Caribbean. Ground transport from LaGuardia to the cruise terminal and as horrible. Took 2 hours. Buses were not called to pick us up until after they confirmed the number of people waiting. We were corralled in an air at the airport with no seating. Food servers in the restaurants did not know their menus or the side ...

Friends and family had nothing but praise for this cruise line. Unfortunately the embarkment was 45 min off and disembarking was a hectic cluster as the cruise line did not follow their own policy. As we did obtain their green banding and waited for our call as told...when our call came we found the whole ship and passengers were left in an unruly manner. Causing mass confusion. Which makes one ...

We wanted to go to Bermuda and this was a different ship for us, so we went. Overall, we had fun and Bermuda is awesome. Our stateroom was a forward balcony and was nice, clean and the room steward was very friendly and good. However, the service in the dining rooms was horrible every night except once. The food was sometimes good sometimes bad. We would have to ask 3 times for a drink and 40 ...

We chose this cruise because it was from Boston to Bermuda. We live about an hour from Boston,so it was convenient. We went with another couple who had been on the Dawn and really liked that ship,so thought this would be similar. We had a balcony cabin. The hallways were narrow, the bathroom was small, especially the toilet area. Our room steward was great, can’t remember his name-cabin 9636. ...

We selected this itinerary because we were looking for a Zika free destination with the ease of the all-inclusive resorts available in much of the Caribbean. In this regard, the Escape to Bermuda was a good choice for us and our four-year-old daughter. We were impressed with Splash Academy, whose counselors worked hard to create a new theme for the kids each day. Our daughter kept telling us ...
