Second MSC Cruise: Preziosa

Review for MSC Preziosa to Baltic Sea

Rio de Janiero to Lisbon April 8, 2022 16 nights My first MSC experience was the Opera in 2004. I had a great, 5-day cruise from San Juan to Florida. The crew was accommodating; the cruise director, in particular. He remembered my name after we met. I’ve been eager to sail MSC again, so when I saw a sailing from Rio to Lisbon, I just had to book it. I loved the ship, enjoyed wonderful ...

Acceptable but disappointing after many other cruise lines

Review for Celebrity Silhouette to Baltic Sea

We chose this cruise as friends had been on it Before and said how good it was. Having done many previous cruises with Royal Caribbean, Princess, P&O, Carnval and the first ever withThomson (Tui-now Marella), I was expecting exciting things: believing that Celebrity were the 5* cruise line (out of the Carnival owned ships). Currently onboard and whilst aspects of the cruise are good, there are ...

Great experience, still prefer Virgin Cruises.

Review for Holland America Rotterdam to Baltic Sea

I admit Virgin Cruises has spoiled us. But due to being a new cruise line and limited destinations, we booked the Viking Saga cruise on the new Rotterdam ship. Pros: the pros are there are very few children on this ship, which makes for a better experience for me at least. The entertainment was classy and catered more to a cultured crowd. The blues band was excellent and the classical ...

Enjoyable return to cruising

Review for Sirena to Baltic Sea

Chose this cruise as we like Oceania, embarkation close to home, and because of the port calls around the North Sea and part of Southern Baltic. The first port in Faroes was cancelled to everyone’s disappointment, replaced by Invergordon. Which I really enjoyed, to my surprise. Otherwise everything went to plan and we thoroughly enjoyed the mix of other ports, particularly Stavanger and Oslo. ...

Great itinerary so made the mistake of booking it was good value but this came at a cost Embarkation very disorganised and their party company used at horizon terminal were Apalling no crowd management and all running late with 4 queues and not doing in order of priority When finally on board room great and cabin steward great and couldn’t do enough Food poor and quality better in buffet ...

This was by far the cheapest cruise I have been on as everyting tips, drinks, internet was throun in. It therefore attracted a lot of first timers who treated it like a Booze Cruise. The Pros : the staff.the front desk ,the buffet, the front desk when I got covid (they rang me every day to make sure that I got every thing I needed) The GYM was good and we never had to wait for a machine ...

Well appointed but an attitude change may be required

Review for Borealis to Baltic Sea

We chose the cruise as it was easier for us to reach Liverpool and was less likely to be affected by an increase in Covid infections The ship itself is very well refurbished from Holland America line. It is excellently appointed and did not disappoint in this regard. For health reasons we selected using the Freedom fare, a Premier Suite close to a lift and friends. We have mobility issues and ...

We boarded at Amsterdam, everything went smoothly. Into our cabins quickly and able to go for lunch. The ship is beautiful with lots of lovely crew. Our cabin was extremely comfortable and spacious with excellent air control and a good size balcony. The bathroom had a powerful shower with Elemis toiletries. We enjoyed the Pinnacle and Tamarind restaurants along with the Lido and Dutch cafe. ...

My husband and I chose this cruise for our Golden (50th) wedding Anniversary as we had cruised with Celebrity on Silhouette before and knew the suite that we wanted having stayed in it before so wanted to stay in this again for this special occasion as we knew the quality of the staterooms, food and staff efficiency and friendliness. We certainly were not disappointed as they excelled in all ...

Everything was perfect for this cruise, I could not it fault in any aspect. Having last travelled with Celebrity to the Canaries in 2017 which was brilliant in every way, we thought the company would not be able to achieve such high levels of service throughout. Well they did! From the moment we boarded to our very last steps off the ship, the welcome, friendliness and sheer work ethic ...
