Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Euribia

I’m taking the time to leave a positive review of this ship for those who are doing their research as I was. 5 days before my Fiancé and I set sail for a week on the Euribia I stupidly started looking at reviews and of course, people only take the time to leave negative ones and not positive. I was thoroughly panicked. However - We loved the ship, the crew were great, the balcony room and it’s ...

Me and my mother just love this cruise out of Rotterdam for Christmas. Food in MDR and Buffet was good, hot and a wide variety at all days. Entertainment great for younger and older people. Theater shows nice most of the days. Carousel lounge was the venue where we every evening with a 16 people Big Band and 2 singers ( Michael Buble like ). This was our 8th cruise on a MSC ship and ...

Review for a Europe - River Cruise Cruise on Viking Beyla

This was our fifth Viking Cruise, and third Viking River cruise. We wanted to do something different and chose the Elbe River on one of two Viking "Baby Long Ships". The Beyla has half the capacity of Vikings River ships, to navigate the notoriously shallow Elbe River. This was not a problem on our cruise, as the river level was high after recent snow in the area. Since the navigable section of ...

19th cruise with Cunard and very impressed. Le Harve & Rotterdam From embarkation onwards was great. Dining in QG with Deepak and MJ as our waiters. They were friendly and professional. Ordered off menu a few times (seafood cocktail; various lobster dishes; rum baba and baked Alaska) and no issues at all. Butler was lovely and you could set you watch with her canapé delivery ...

Magical Cruise, One of Best Ever

Review for a Europe - River Cruise Cruise on Viking Beyla

As former cold warriors, we chose this cruise to visit places we had been forbidden to travel while serving in what was West Germany. On our way to the ship, our very first thrill - walking across the Glieniecke Bridge, the bridge of spy exchanges near Sans Souci and Cecilienhof. It was cold and snowing. There was little traffic. It was the thrill of a lifetime. From beginning to end, our trip ...

Shiny new ship with a few very minor glitches

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Euribia

My review is written from the viewpoint of somebody who booked a very cheap cruise with the most basic of cabins. We boarded it at Southampton which was an absolute dream. I have never boarded a ship so quickly and with the so little fuss and the cruise line as well as the onshore team should be congratulated, We had an 11:00 a.m. boarding time and returned up. Expecting to be hanging around ...

Excellent Northern Lights cruise on a beautiful ship

We had a fabulous time on this Northern Lights cruise and readers can look up my Live From thread on the Cunard boards for more detail. We sail with a toddler which is unusual for Cunard but their kids club is great. Our child is under 2 so we have to remain with her in the kids club during the day but between 6 and 11pm, they put out travel cots and you can leave your sleeping child while you ...

Wonderful Time

We chose this cruise as it represented very good value and convenient from Southampton. We also liked the idea of sailing on a brand new mega ship. All in all we had an excellent time and enjoyed the facilities and service on board very much. It does get busy at times especially in the buffet restaurant but this is to be expected on a big boat and to be honest it was not that bad and we did not ...

Two Day Taster Cruise - Bristol to Tilbury

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Ambition

Well what can I say, this two day mini cruise was brilliant throughout. We live in Essex and drove to the Port of Tilbury where we boarded one of two coaches to Bristol. We arrived in good time at Bristol, and were checked in and were onboard in no time. Our two previous cruises had been on very large ships with 6,000 passengers plus, so we wondered how this smaller ship would ...
