2 week Norway cruise ruined. Our deck 5 cabin was next to isolation area. I sat on our balcony for several days til I HAD to speak to woman on balcony next to me who smoked outside everyday. She informed me she was in Covid isolation and was told she could smoke. So, I inhaled her smoke for days. They put HEALTHY New passengers right next door to Covid area. We demanded to be moved, and days later ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Voyager of the Seas

Originally planned this cruise for a 2020 sailing, finally happened in 2022. Not disapointed at all. Ship was 1400 guests which was 40% full. Never had to wait for really anything. Were on board in stockholm bu 10:30, the stress of pre cruise testing is real, but we made it. This was our first European cruise, very port intensive. The crew all wore masks and cleaned constantly, but were all ...

If you like quiet.....

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Celebrity Apex

Well it sure was'nt the carribbean...lol. It was a sedate crowd with very little to do on sea days. The shows at night were very good and plenty of seating with 50% occupancy on the ship. The main dining room food was hit or miss and some of the meat was very tough. Eden was fabulous with excellent food and service. Steakhouse also very good. We should not have to pay extra for a nice dinner. ...

My mom, aunt, and I recently returned from a trip aboard the Rotterdam along the coast and fjords of Norway, including stops in Eidfjord, Skoldjen, Andalsnes, Trondheim, Hammerfest, Honningsvag, Alesund, and Maloy. Overall the trip was pleasant. The Rotterdam is a nice, new ship and the scenery and stops were beautiful. Below are quick ratings, with detailed explanations following. Trip ...

I just finished Celebrity's survey that they email you post-cruise, but it did not give me a chance to say what I really wanted about this much anticipated cruise. Instead, this is going to be a really long review so I can get it all said! As an introduction, I am soon to be 65 and my husband is soon to be 68 with our son who is 18 and starting college in August. We live outside Philadelphia ...

Beautiful Ship, but ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Celebrity Apex

I've previously sailed on the Equniox and thought it a much better ship. The Apex was beautiful, but not enough common areas to hang out to read a book or gather at a table to play a game. No promenade, no library, no ice bar. 14 decks compared to 19 on the Equinox, seems they took away common area for rooms. I appreciate we were only at 50% capacity, otherwise it would have been impossible to ...

Expensive Wifi sucks

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Poesia

I went on the Northern-cruise with my mom & all over i think it was a great experience & holiday. Nice crew, very interesting places we visited & the food was definetly okay. The only comment i have, that's regarding the wifi. It is very expensive and it works poorly. We've paid +/- 300 euro for 8 days for multiple devices, but the wifi went off most of the time. Without my knowledge my ...

Into the Midnight Sun - Wonderful sites in the British Isles, Norway, and Iceland

Review for a Arctic Cruise on Viking Mars

We have always wanted to visit Norway and Iceland, so we added the 3-day stay in Iceland to the end of our trip. Having been to London and Edinburgh previously, we enjoyed seeing different parts of those cities on the included excursions. We weren't able to hike Albert's Seat, but if you have time, it looked as if it had a beautiful vantage point of the city of Edinburgh. Also, the church of St ...

So disappointing

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Iona

So disappointed

We have cruised many times this was our 14th and really love Britannia so expectations were high for Iona. Can't understand why they've changed the layout of the top decks which did not impress at all. There is no big pool with open deck it's all bits and pieces. 2 infinity pools at back, covered pool called the skydome and then another smaller pool. No baby pools and there were a lot on ...
