Great itinerary.

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Island Princess

Choose cruise for itinerary. Met expectations. Iceland worth the trip. Baltic was interesting to us. Enjoyed area. Would have liked to have seen more Norwegian fjords . Ship stopped in port every day. Without missing port due to weather we would not have cruised any fjords. Ship did not meet expectations. Far behind on maintenance- automatic doors not working through entire cruise around the ...

We choose this cruise as the ship was new and itinerary interesting as we had not seen several of the ports. The positive 1. New ship with good (not great) suites. Ship handles the seas well and is smooth 2. Lots of staff who are very polite 3. Multitude of dining options 4. Shuttle service in many cities 5. Good coffee, and cocktails. Typical low quality wines ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Enchanted Princess

We did this cruise as a back to back. The first part was an imagine cruise itinerary and featured Catherine Jenkins, Aled Jones and Collabaro. I was surprised at the age demographic which was one of the oldest I have ever had on any cruise. Consequently the crew were pulled all ways to assist putting more pressure on them. Enchanted is a new ship that was supposed to sail in 2020 but was ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Azamara Quest

The cruise was chosen because it did 3 overnight stays. We had read previous reviews and did not know what to expect but we felt ports would be exactly what we wanted The first thing to say is the staff, crew and officers are superb. They try to meet every request. The food we thought was amazing. I don't know what other people eat in their day to day life who complain? The cabin was an ...

Only my 2nd cruise - not a fan

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Azamara Quest

First of all - Cruises ARE NOT my choice of travel - but went with a friend who has been on 20+ cruises and likes Azamara. Personally I prefer to 'chart my own course' - I don't need/want to be herded onto a boat. Too much time is wasted at sea - too little time to explore interesting cities. The POSITIVES....I like the smaller boats- this was especially the case as St Petersburg ...

We choose this cruise for two reasons, we thought after covid a cruise around the Uk would be the safest and also it went to many destinations we have never been too. As a wheelchair user I was not expecting to leave the ship unless we were moored at port ( just three) but no the expedition team got me on every Zodiac and landing to places like Iona , Tresco to name but a few . They were ...

Never travelling with Hurtigruten

4th trip with Hurtigruten and it will be the last. Lie on the brochure. If you plan to go to Svalbard to see walruses, polar bears, do not go with this company which has signed an IATO agreement which forces them to observe these animals at least 500m away so a polar bear will only be visible with good binoculars and even. Food really not good, every day, noon and evening the same ...

Review for a Europe - River Cruise Cruise on Viking Beyla

First Time Cruiser • Age 70s

We had been to Europe many times but had never been on a river cruise and people had told us how enjoyable they were. We signed up for a Viking River cruise in 2020 but because of Covid it was canceled. I was very impressed that Viking refunded every dollar without any hassle and at that point I decided when we would be able to travel again it would definity be with Viking. I love European ...

Beware Elbe Low Water Level

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Viking Beyla

My wife and I had cruised Viking on the Rhine, Main, Danube, and Moselle previously. We knew what a great experience Viking provides its passengers, and so we wanted another Viking experience on another river. We had attempted to book the Elbe cruise before, but because the river was too low for a complete on-water itinerary, we chose the cancellation option Viking afforded us. We booked this ...

2 week Norway cruise ruined. Our deck 5 cabin was next to isolation area. I sat on our balcony for several days til I HAD to speak to woman on balcony next to me who smoked outside everyday. She informed me she was in Covid isolation and was told she could smoke. So, I inhaled her smoke for days. They put HEALTHY New passengers right next door to Covid area. We demanded to be moved, and days later ...
