Cruising to Iceland and Norway
This ship is mighty unstable in moderatly rough seas and i mean 3ft swells we were on deck 9 forward and massive booming noises were generated by the unconventional bow configuration meant we did not sleep for the first 5 nights due to the noise and the captain had to present himself on the atrium to answer why the ship was so unstable no answer he gave made me ...
We did not choose our 29th cruise because of the itinerary, but because we wanted to sail with the new NCL ship "Norwegian Prima".
Boarding went smoothly without any waiting.
First impressions were very good: modern looks, the corridors to the staterooms have a great "hotel feeling" and are very beautifully designed. The stateroom (balcony room) was the most spacious we ever had. Beautiful ...
Onboard Prima now and with 2 days to go we thought we'd post a review. There are so many positives for this review but i will try and keep it short and sweet.
We have enjoyed the itinerary although we missed Belfast due to the weather. We have seen the Northern Lights, dolphins and whales from the ship so have been very lucky.
The ship is beautiful and the layout is fantastic, the service ...
We booked a Suite SJ Category with a upgraded package for Drinks, Wifi, etc. From Day 1 there was a constant noise in the cabin and NCL refused to do anything. After repeated complaints they gave us a voucher for future travel which doesn't mean anything.
The Wifi was of poor quality.
Then the stop to Belfast was cancelled.
All the Port tours in Iceland and Norway were delayed.
The ...
We chose this British Isles Explorer cruise because we have been on several Viking River cruises and have always loved the service and facilities that Viking offers. I am of English, Welsh and Scottish heritage and was very anxious to see the area. Because of the weather we were unable to go to Wales, Ulapool, the Scottish Highlands and the Shetland Islands and missed 4 shore excursions which ...
This is our second ocean cruise with Viking. We have also completed four Viking river cruises.
We chose the Great Britain Cruise because of the exceptional excursions offered and our past excellent experience with Viking cruises. All the Viking staff, from the embarkation staff, restaurant servers and chefs to our personal cabin steward provided exceptional service. Everyone went out of ...
We just finished a seven-day cruise to Norwegian fjords out of Amsterdam and really enjoyed the experience. The ship is brand new and looks it; the staff were cleaning the already immaculate common spaces daily. The balcony room was well laid-out and spacious. The service was excellent and food was very good as well.
The entertainment worked for us because it was music-focused, and we ...
1st cruise post covid, we had this trip booked for September 2020 which was cancelled. Three of us travelling in 2 balcony cabins, part of celebrating my mums 80th birthday.
Husband and I have completed a number of cruises on Princess, RCI, Celebrity & P&O.
Boarding was one of the slickest we have experienced, 30 mins from arrival at port to being on the ship, we did arrive near to our ...
One experience was excellent from embarkation to leaving this wonderful ship. The standard inside cabin was spacious and very well designed. Very comfy bed and plenty of storage.
Food was excellent in the horizon buffet, The Quays and in the main dining rooms. The Chefs table was delicious and highly recommended.
All the staff were pleasant and eager to please. We waited no longer than 10 ...
This was our first time on a Viking cruise. We had taken many other cruises with various different companies in the past.
We had heard good things about Viking.
Both my husband and I thought the entire cruise was just average. We did experience bad weather during our cruise and missed a total of 4 ports, so instead of only having 1 sea day we had 5.
The company said since it was weather ...
