In full disclosure, this was my first cruise, so I have nothing to compare it to other than other land-based vacations. I quite literally cannot adequately express how amazing this experience and cruise was. From the room to the crew to the food to the activities it was an amazing trip.
PROS:
1. The crew was consistently amazing. Friendly, helpful, and always attentive.
2. I had an ...
I usually cruise with Disney and Celebrity but decided to give Royal a try. I did a 4 night cruise which I felt was a perfect amount of time for a first time Royal cruiser. This was very much so a booze cruise so be aware if you’re not a drinker…people can get pretty crazy onboard. We were past capacity (I asked a crew member and they said 4,590 guests were onboard)…the pools and lido deck were ...
It's been 5 years since we've sailed on Royal Caribbean although a Platinum member.
We went with family including grandchildren that wanted to visit Perfect Day at Coco Cay.
The ship has so much for every age to enjoy. Even though there were 6500 passengers waiting in line was not a problem.
My only issues was two of us paid $1100 total for the Deluxe Alcohol package and on day 4 they ...
We usually cruise on Carnival but thought we’d give Royal Caribbean a try. What a mistake. This ship is old and dirty. It needs a makeover. It smells. The rooms are tiny. The cruise assistants are so unhelpful. Every question we asked we got the response absolutely not. We purchased 2 very expensive cabanas for the Bahamas. They didn’t put us next to each other and told us we had to ask ...
We had the absolute best time!! We couldn’t be happier with the trip! We did the license to chill package and from start to finish everything was taken care of! Anna was the best ambassador we could have asked for! The license to chill included a sit down breakfast both morning, expedited embark and disembarking of the ship, a night at the steak house the JWB (best steak of my life pictured ...
We just spent 2 amazing days with margaritaville at sea paradise. We booked 3 cabins. What a great time onboard . The food was above my expectations. They were able to accommodate my wife’s allergy by offering a variety of selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Crew members were so nice, always a smile with a very positive attitude. My wife had a massage and it was one of the best she had so ...
Ok let me do this quick review of my cruise June 10-13 2022 on Independence of the Seas. This is my review of how I saw it and what you have seen may be totally different. I will give an A, B C, D, F grade.
This is my first cruise since October 2019 pre pandemic. I have been cruising since 2008 all on Royal. Not putting my C&A status as that will not give anything extra to the review. Had a ...
Wanted a nice get away to the Bahamas. The cruise itself was great! Lots of options, Great Food (I’m picky too) and many options for kids but…. How about no AC in your room for 4 days, until they fixed it even after calling guest services about it. The fridge in the room wasn’t working either so the water and beer in the room was pointless Of course the cruise line had every room booked (over ...
This is my second time on this ship. The first time was in 2017. I was hoping to see some upgrades but there wasn't. This ship is old and dated. The aft part of the ship must have had some sort of a plumbing issue because the entire side of the ship smelled horrendous. So many people were gagging and were nauseous when they passed by there.
The cabin that we had was an Oceanview which was ...
Prior to COVID outbreak, my wife and I have taken this 3-day (weekend) cruise on the Norwegian Sky as a quick getaway from work stress. The Norwegian Sky was refurbished in 2019 and is in immaculate condition. While the Sky does not have the bells and whistles on the larger NCL vessels, it was prefect for a quick getaway.
In general, we find the Sail for Free Promotion, where you get ...
