Got a great discount for my casino play and we were offered Club Orange at half price on our 10 day Southern Carib. cruise. So we were very satisfied overall. We were on the Bliss last week 3-24/3-1 to the Bahamas from NYC.
This is our 9th cruise with ncl. Also cruised with Royal and Carnival.
We live up in the Hudson Valley NY and had a kid drive us to the terminal from Astoria about a half hour away from the terminal.
I gave the longshoreman a nice tip up front and he took our luggage out of the trunk for us and that was that.

We chose this cruise for its length, reasonable price and nice itinerary. Generally, we were quite satisfied with the cruise. Of course there are always irritating issues on any voyage – in our case our television broke and the guest services staff noted that it could not be repaired or replaced. We chose this cruise (1) to move us up to D+ before our Dec cruise, and (2) proximity of our home to Port Canaveral. We were in Grand Suite 10250. We left our house at 9:10am and were ON the ship by 10:30am.

I enjoyed the role of grandparent to a 4 year old on his (and his parents') first cruise - what's not to like about a week-long sleepover. I “survived” the pseudo-coronaviris scare on the MSC Meraviglia and I can still say I had a great vacation even though we missed 3 ports. The staff remained friendly, and the cruise line did great damage control by giving us a 100% refund and $200 ship credit per stateroom.
