We chose this cruise because the port was close to home and we wanted just a short little long weekend trip. We have cruised before with Carnival, but first time on this ship. We had all levels of cruisers from first timers to platinum cruisers. Getting on the ship was excellent. No complaints, but that's the only positive! Could not get drinks at the bar, completely overlooked several times. The food in the main dining room was HORRIBLE! The first night I ordered the flank steak, which wasn't flank steak. and it tasted straight up like chemicals! a mixture of lighter fluid and charcoal is what it tasted like. straight TERRIBLE! And the service was super slow!!! 2 1/2 hour dinner? Nowhere to get to, but too long to wait for dinner. Comedian, some guy on the 3rd night, TERRIBLE! all his jokes bombed. Can't even remember his name. Service on the rest of the boat was mediocre at best. Not as friendly as some of the other cruises I've been on. DeEmbarkment was a NIGHTMARE! 3 hours to get off the boat! HORRIBLE! I would recommend that they take this boat offline for a week or two and give the staff some time to regroup and figure out their lives before cruising out again! Read Less

20-30 minutes for a drink. Never left the ship for their "private island". Called the front desk because there was dry blood on our sheets, we could never get through, it just rang and then a message said everyone was busy, try again later. Eventually had to take sheet from a cart in the hallway. Getting off the ship was horrifying. We needed to be on the 5th floor to get off the ship. We tried to get off the ship early by carrying our own luggage off. Traffic was so backed up that we we're standing in the back of the ship, on the 7th floor stairwell. And they kept calling more groups to get off the ship. I would think just a couple weeks after crushing 2 moorings and damaging the ship, their service would be on point. That was not the case. Drink package would have been worth it if it didn't take 30 minutes to get a drink. Food was good. But I can get good food anywhere. Please do not take a Norwegian cruise line adventure.... Ever.. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Started off from usually getting a bottle of sparkling wine in the stateroom since I’m a rewards member.. no bottle. When I asked why they said it was too short of cruise for one. Next they had us trapped on the ship the whole time since they claimed at one of two ports the waters were too rough to tender (they were just as calm the day before we were at port) they did nothing for us! They easily could have rerouted us or asked us to wait a few hours before the waters were up to their standards. They got on the intercom and said how they planned a bunch of new activities to make up for it(yeah right) I had a first time cruiser with me as well and you can imagine his first impression! He never wants to cruise again! We felt so trapped with no where to go! The food was ok but if you wanted a drink at dinner forget about it! I had to wait until I almost had my dinner before a drink even showed up! If I wanted another I had to order as soon as the first one arrived. One last thing is our room attendant was very nice but when we would leave and move the thing to “make up cabin” on 2 different occasions we came back to it on “do not disturb” and an unmade cabin and no fresh towels- I had to track someone down for fresh towels. (Probably some kids in the hall) but they should only have these buttons available from inside the stateroom so no one can change it. We are paying a service fee for what? I made my own bed 2nd. Overall I had a horrible experience I’m really not sure if I will cruise Norwegian again.... it was definitely an EPIC FAIL Read Less

Getting into and through security was the easy part, everything after that was horrible food was cold, pool area was crowded, they never cleaned our cabin but wanted to charge a service fee per person $116 for four days. All activities and shows were always booked no matter what time of day. We only went to one island given we were to stop at 2 in total. Being on the water for 3 days out of our 4 day cruise was crap. The only thing good was being able to sleep. Getting off the ship disembarkation omg was horrible we woke up at 6 to be off at least by 730am we got delayed because of customs and waited in line for over 3 hours to get off the ship. No staff was available to help with line situations people were arguing the whole time. This was my first cruise and by far the worst experience ever. I will never book another cruise at least through Norwegian. Just horrible. Read Less

My husband and I needed to get away for a few days to totally unwind and we did just that. Now just so you know this was our 32 cruise and this was our 6th Carnival cruise and majority have been with RRCL. What does anyone really expect to get for three days? We expect a clean room #1, ice bucket kept full, room steward to provide us with clean towels and good food. Our room was clean but never to my standard so I Clorox everything that's a solid surface and fabreeze all materials - now I know it's halfway clean. Room steward asked when we preferred to have him to service our room and we opted for mornings - choice was morning or afternoon. A little strange for us as we are accustomed to twice per day. First day it's now 2pm and room is still the same as we left it. We saw steward and he asked if he could clean our room and we asked for just clean towels seeing it was so late and we had stayed away thinking he would clean the room "in the morning". We rarely saw him for the rest of our cruise. We would get our own ice and kept the room pretty clean and he would bring clean towels sometime during the evening when we were out. Food - 1st night we ate at the Diamonds steakhouse and my surf and turf was excellent, but my husbands prone rib not so much. Should have been better seeing that we paid for this meal. Other meals were in the cafeteria and it was horrible - not many choices here and the same food day in and day out and they would serve you the food I guess cost more like bacon.....weird. Tables weren't cleared off and half the time we never saw workers at all. I felt that we were to totally take care of all our needs everywhere on this ship. Staff never made it a point to say hello and ask if we needed anything as if to avoid having to do anymore than needed. Food wasn't good but we didn't starve either. Shows were ok,but the one thing that was above and beyond our expectations was the cruise director Nono she was fantastic in engaging with everyone especially after the shows in the Atrium I think it was called Flowers we had a fantastic evening on the last night - thanks Nono!! We had a balcony and it was filthy of course a good wash down was needed and you couldn't even see out of the windows when you sat in the chairs. My husband cleaned them with soap and water which was much better. Neighbors above us, left and right were loud and fowl mouthed - could have done without! You pay extra for a balcony so clean it up people....bottom line I really felt like we weren't on a cruise that service was a priority from the staffing. What a shame! Again three days what should you expect? Service wasn't anything to write home about, cleanliness overall the public areas were clean but lacked in our stateroom/balcony. Food - nothing special at all. Would I do this one again.... NOPE! I would not. I'll pay extra to be on RRCL. Read Less

On March 6, 2019, my husband, Bill and I cruised on the NCL Pearl out of Tampa, FL. Joining us on the cruise was my brother-in-law and his new wife. This was to have been a time for the four of us to relax and to enjoy each other’s company, eat good food and enjoy good entertainment. We were excited to get away! Unfortunately this turned out to be the worst vacation experience of our lives. I have waited to write this letter until I could convey my thoughts and feelings devoid of the anger and disappointment I felt at the end of the cruise. I want this letter to inform and enlighten rather than just rail at the inadequacies of the cruise. However, it is difficult even now after sixteen days to put perspective on our very bad experience. Admittedly this was a last minute booking and by the time we decided to book the mini suites were no longer available so we settled for family balcony rooms that cost more than the sale price for the mini suites. We booked and thought that was that but within days we received emails saying we could make bids to upgrade our rooms. The problem was we couldn’t because it wouldn’t guarantee that both couples would get the upgrade. This coupled with the idea that we would now pay even more money for the mini suites (that were not available when we booked) was pretty crass. This bidding program is just ugly and beneath NCL. It really makes NCL stand out as a cheap cruise line. We arrived for the cruise and the embarkation process was very smooth, especially since we are Latitudes members. Kudos to all involved in the process. Actually, I will say that with everything that wasn’t good about the cruise the staff on and off the ship stood out as professional, courteous and gracious, to a fault. I have nothing but good things to say about the NCL staff. We boarded and that’s when reality settled in that we found ourselves booked on a cruise with a very large number of guests all belonging to one group. I believe it would be called a partially chartered cruise since in this case there were more than 800 guests who were there for an affiliated event. A group that no one in my party would choose to be affiliated with yet now we found ourselves in the midst of wherever we went on the ship. This group had a definite agenda and they were there to enjoy themselves as were we. They were often in costume and they many were observed smoking on decks and by the pool and hot tubs. They monopolized every space. Most disturbing were the number of security personnel I observed which made me feel unsafe walking alone on the decks for exercise. The other group that I also need to mention were the number of spring breakers. They also were jockeying for space and so the areas around the pools and hot tubs and bars were simply not available to anyone else. I was heartened to see a family in a hot tub on the last day. I don’t know how they managed to secure it but I’m happy they did. The four of us were just trying to find quiet places where we could play cards and that was difficult to come by too! Even the card room next to the library was being used to sort shirts and was not available to use for its intended purpose. We decided to play cards in the café after meal service was over each evening. We just wanted a table and some quiet away from the craziness. This is also a pass through area from one end of the ship to the other. On two evenings we were treated to verbal altercations and threats between and among passengers. I am not a prude but their language was way over the top and disturbing. One evening was volatile with verbal threats of “I’m going to kill you”. So much for quiet space and playing cards. We were looking forward to the beach day at Great Stirrup Cay and a chance to swim and lay in the sun but due to rough seas they were unable to tender the passengers to shore and the ship was diverted to Freeport. We were offered three possible shore excursions, all at substantial cost. Now if we wanted to go to the beach it was going to cost, I think, $89.00. What was to be part of the cruise was now a paid gig. Add to that it was after 2:30 when passengers were allowed to disembark and it wasn’t worth the time or money and Freeport is an unpleasant little port. From beginning to end this cruise was just unpleasant. Even the entertainment was changed! We were expecting “Legends In Concert” but they never performed. There was a singer one evening, an acrobatic duo who were quite good on another evening. Otherwise the theater was occupied with the 800 members of the group and their TV idols. Finally, I expect that at the very least the ship is going to be clean inside and out. Our rooms were clean and the inside spaces of the ship were clean (if tired) but the windows, the balconies and the rails were filthy as were the clear walls in the outside spaces. Again, I have been on other NCL cruises and never found this to be a problem. We were also dismayed to see how much trash was left by fellow passengers in the elevators, on the stairs, in the hallways, and on the decks (cigarette butts). So, this was a cruise monopolized by one group. They were drinking heavily and many were smoking. The cruise seemed to be tailored to their needs. I have always avoided theme cruises and anything that smacks of a chartered cruise but I didn’t have the opportunity to opt out and that’s just not fair. NCL took advantage of me and others to fill up their ship knowing full well this was a charted cruise. Shame on you. Other cruise lines advertise their “special” cruises and I know to stay away. You can and need to do better NCL! So, what can you do? Be honest with customers from the beginning and tell them if the ship is partially chartered; provide quiet spaces on the smaller ships for people who want to play cards or games. If you are going to continue the after the fact bidding system then find a way to make it work for passengers booking more than one room and inform customers about the bidding system on your website. Finally, wash your ships! So I find myself a Latitudes member no longer enthused about being a member or taking another cruise on NCL. This review doesn’t address everything and the words really don’t convey how bad this cruise was. It’s hard to put it all down but this cruise impacted my relationship with NCL and you lost two prospective Latitudes members. This was their first and last NCL cruise. It was great on the Dawn and the Getaway and I had expectations that it would be great on the Pearl, but it wasn’t. Read Less

This cruise was chosen because of all of the items on the ship for us to do with our kids. By the 3rd day, I woke up with three bites on my neck. The 4th day, I had numerous more. I went to their medical floor and expressed my fears that there may be bed bugs in my room. They reassured me they did not look like bed bug bites. I asked what it could be and he expressed they looked like German measles. I explained I'm vaccinated and have had my titers so this wasn't possible. I asked what I should do now? He handed me 2 Hydrocortisone packets and told me to continue my night. I was appalled! I'm a nurse and sending someone they think could have a very contagious disease to the rest of the public should be forbidden! I'm sure it's because they knew it was bed bug bites. They said they were sure they weren't bed bug bites but would have someone come check the room. Nobody came to my room. I called guest services and they sent someone up to tell me they would do a thorough check when we went for dinner. We got back from dinner to see the beds were remade and there was a white powder placed behind the bed. I had to call guest services to see what they found. The lady said the search was completely negative. I asked what the white powder was and she said she was sending the supervisor up. When he got there, he explained the white powder was protocol but the search came up 100% negative. He said there was even a bug specialist in our room and said no traces of bed bugs were found. I took these pictures after their thorough search of my room. Disgusting!!! Bugs in the mattress!!!! That was our last night there. After calling Royal Caribbean the day after we got back, they asked for me to submit the pictures. After reviewing the pictures, they apologized for this occurring on their ship and offered me a 10% discount on a future cruise purchase. I can't even explain the nightmare this has caused. All of our luggage is in garbage bags outside our house to prevent any chance of bringing them inside our home. This cruise turned into a nightmare. -Our dining was exceptional. There was a great variety of food choices. Our server was fabulous. -This cruise had 2 Bahamas stops, Nassau and CoCo Cay. Both were great. -We let our 2 boys choose our shore excursions. The first was the Rainbow Reef snorkel in Nassau. It was our boys (age 8 and 10) first time snorkeling. The staff were great and we loved it -In CoCo Cay, they chose two excursions, swimming with the pigs and the stingray experience. The staff made them memorable and we suggest both of them. -Upon docking, our last shore excursion was The Everglades by airboat. We loved it! -We had a fabulous view from our balcony. We had a balcony on the back of the ship with magnificent views -In all of our travels, we have never experienced bed bugs before. I don't wish it upon anyone. The way Royal Caribbean lied and pretended to search our room is unacceptable. Read Less

Being trapped on board with a bunch of drunken kids isn’t my idea of a relaxing vacation ! We couldn’t use many of the amenities that we also paid for, because they were being monapalized by the drunks! Cabins were adequate but the bed was not comfortable I got up every morning aching. Staff in restaurants and buffet were kind and courteous. The ship appeared to be well maintained. Guest Services left a lot to be desired they made us feel like criminals, and we’re very snooty. We chose this cruise since it was close to home and available during the week we wanted to go on vacation. It was a pretty terrible cruise with the Captain almost getting us killed sailing into a storm with over 100mph gales that were forecasted, We woke at night with the ship listing and everything flying in our room. Many people on the ship were injured. Shame on the Captain for proceeding with this sailing into the storm. The cruise line has not refunded us or given us a credit. This cruise also had very few and terrible shows with the exception of "After Midnight". The Choir of Men was pretty bad. I do not want to see men urinating on stage. There were only 2 shows and the magic shows was horrible with just card tricks for one hour. I felt bad for the bored kids. The comedy sows were in small lounges so you would have to arrive at least half an hour early. There is no place to go on deck to relax in the cold unless you want to pay a cover charge at the Haven or Margaritaville. The Internet is the most expensive at sea and the slowest of all cruise lines! The only positive part of the ship was the dining in the main dining rooms. The service was generally very good as well as the food. The SPA customer service was horrible and they have a nasty SPA manager. This was my first Norwegian and it will be out last. Why would I want to pay more to receive less?? Read Less

My 9 year-old son and I travelled on the Escape from New York to Nassau on march 2019. We were just the 2 of us for a week full of activities and adventures... Did not go as expected. FYI, it costed us 2300$ for the cruise and an extra 1000$ for all other fee, and I did not have a drop of alcohol or eat in a restaurant. (extra is for parking in NY pier, Shore excursions - kennedy space center and blue lagoon island- bingo, and souvenirs - 2 stuffed animals) First we had a live remake of the Titanic on our first night. Our ship was tilted on a 25 degree angle for 15 minutes. People screaming and running, injured passengers and everything in our stateroom was on the floor (glasses, bottles...) The other nights it was better, but still it was rocking A LOT and furnitures on the balcony kept on shifting and making a lot of noise (preventing us from sleeping). Then the ship was OVERBOOKED. It was our spring break, so we were expecting a lot of kids and people everywhere, and we were perfectly fine with it. But when you have a ship family-oriented of a capacity of more thant 4500 passengers, and there is 1 pool for kids with a capacity of 43.... What about waiting in line for 1 hour to get in a pool? Awful. Same thing with the waterslides, ping pong, bocce ball, mini golf, rope course... We had to wait for every activity, every day. An overbooked ship means a lot of people to feed as well. 15-20 minutes of running around at the buffet to get a table. And we were just 2! Can't imagine the family of 5-6 people trying to get seated. Same thing for a la carte restaurant, 30-45 minutes waiting to get in. Food was excellent though and service very good. Being on our first cruise, we had a balcony stateroom and very happy about it. Super clean and confortable, nothing to say. Except for the sound insulation... I mean we could hear the neighbours talk. So that prevented us from sleeping, again. Did not sleep a lot that week, I got home more tired than I was before leaving for the cruise. Because of the temperature we did not stop at Great Stirrup Cay, and we ended up spending a day and a half in Nassau instead. Port Canaveral and Nassau were great, nothing wrong with that. Easy to get off and on the ship. Entertainment.... honestly, almost everything cost money. My son wanted to play bingo. It was written that there was a fee, but I was fine with it, until I discovered that it costed 39USD to play 3 games of bingo. I mean WHAT??? Did not last an hour... and of course nobody won the jackpot. This is theft honestly. Then if you want to play other games, you still need to pay. There was a theater but no movie for children at all. And shows were not kid-oriented neither. It is not a disney cruise, but when you have a ship with waterslides, we expect to have at least a little more for kids during the day and early evening. Honestly I think that it was not price-worthy at all. We had the fear of our lives and could not enjoy all the activities and amenities on the ship because of the crowd. I do not recommend sailing with NCL on spring break at all. Read Less

Room service was also very good and had many free options and the pay options were not pricey. Our room location was horrible. We were right above the metal machine shop where very loud grinding, hammering of metal and clinking continues from 7:30 am until after supper every day. I was really sick with a head cold and could not rest even with ear plugs. They offered us 150 credit at the ships shops. We got badly sunburned and the ships shop did not have any aloe or ointments to help. The cabin steward accidentally threw out a retainer that was on the bathroom shelf. It will be 500 to replace it. For Review: Family Vacation - 2019 - Norwegian Escape NCL NYC to Nassau, Bahamas I wanted to inform you of the experience my family and I had on our recent cruise with Norwegian that embarked on February 24th. This cruise was very special as my family and I were all celebrating our birthdays as we are all only a few weeks from one another and we planned on celebrating on the Escape! To start we arrived at the terminal and handed our luggage to the gentleman out front of the terminal, which seemed very sketchy to say the least as he had no marked clothing announcing he was part of NCL. Once inside the terminal we were greeted with a long line that seemed to move at a steady pace! After about a few hours wait; checking in, working through security, and awaiting our boarding # to be called by the grumpy staff we proceeded to board the ship! My family and I started immediately by walking around the ship and exploring the sections that were available and open. We were not yet able to enter our stateroom as it was still in process of being prepared, so my family and I decided to get some lunch at the Garden Buffet. This initial experience was terrible. The food was not hot, the crowd of people was so intense that there was pushing, arguing and there was overall mayhem. Finding a seat was next to impossible as there was many people having to stand with their plates and eat their food due to the lack of seating to accommodate the vast amount of people wanting to eat. We eventually were able to find a seat only to have many people hovering near us for our seat to open up. We ate our food and left the buffet area. Since our room was still not made up, we decided to walk the outer deck and view the NYC skyline as we sailed away from the NYC port; we were excited to begin our vacation! I have been on other NCL cruises in the past and experienced really good service and experience. This cruise did not come close to my other cruises as far as enjoyableness and relaxation. For the money spent, I feel the experience should have been much greater! We felt that the ship was filled with overworked, understaffed employees that didn’t really show the enjoyment to paying customers looking to have a vacation of a life time! Complaints: Our Stateroom- When our stateroom finally opened, we entered and were a little amazed to find that there were soiled towels still sitting on our bathroom floor, a pair of soaked women’s underwear outside our balcony and a bag of opened/dumped candy and mens glasses under our bed. Not quite sure of the cleaning process, but we were expecting a spotless room. The room also had an issue with the balcony door handle or seal where it seemed there was a constant whistling air leak pouring into the room making a hissing noise. After notifying guest relations, housekeeping was sent to the room to re-tidy the room, we were told sorry for inconvenience. The balcony door hiss was never resolved and we were told there were no other rooms available to move to so we persevered thinking “How much are we really going to be in the room?” It was quite an annoyance as we couldn’t really get much sleep with the air whistling into the stateroom. Another really poor experience was that the stateroom below our room had a couple that was constantly smoking marijuana and the smell was pouring into our cabin. This caused many issues as I had my 2 boys with me and I had to explain to them why there was a constant odor of “Skunk” in our cabin! I had to them them a skunk may have snuck on board, fibbing as I could see them smoking when I was on my balcony. Again calling guest relations revealed the guest below us had a license and was legally consuming the drug. If this was the case we would have opted for a different cabin from the get go at the beginning of booking our cruise to avoid the awful odor. Another problem we faed in our room was the lack of cold water. At times there was only scolding hot water unless the water had been ran for about 30 mins to allow the temperature to be bearable. This was an extremely unpleasant ordeal I feel no one should have ever have to endure. The upkeep of the room was very poor as there were several worn items in the room and could tell there was very poor upkeep, like the seal on the back of the toilet that was hanging off of the wall (noticed when we came into room). Our housekeeper did an excellent job with making our beds and cleaning during the day. She was very friendly but we could tell she was extremely tired and overworked not once seeing her not working our section cleaning rooms. I don’t think she ever slept even seeing her in the middle of the night in the hallways. Amongst other issues faced in our room these were a few that made our cruise the most unenjoyable. Food Service: The overall food selection I feel was not as variable as I have experienced on other NCL cruises. It seemed to be the same bland selection daily with very little diffraction on a day to day basis. The lines were so long at the buffet and the tabling was so extremely limited. We often found our selves having to either come back at another time to eat or having to be force to make a reservation at one of the onboard restaurants to guarantee food and a seat.. The sit down restaurant experience was not awful but could use room for major improvement. The wait to get into the restaurant with reservation was very fluid, not having to wait long once arriving to get seated. The wait for the food took quite a bit and almost every time left you with a plate of food that was barely room temperature most likely due to having been sitting waiting for waiter to bring to table. Due to what seemed to be understaffing this was most likely why the food always came out with a non-hot temperature and an under/overcooked taste and texture. One thing I did enjoy was how often the staff had made us wash our hands for safety and cleanliness; a very good practice to have. We ended up eating at Jimmy Buffets Margaritavile at Sea 2 times. Once by choice because we had not tried before and another because we had a dining upgrade and our kids wanted to try. The second time we ate there it was about 25 degrees outside and we had asked to have our food as a takeout so we could go inside to our stateroom to eat. This seemed to be a problem as we had to argue a bit to allow this! But eventually we were told we could bring the food from the restaurant to our room. My family and I a few times dined at O’Sheehans. The food here was really good but the overall service was terrible. We frequently found our selves waiting about 45+ minutes for our drink orders to arrive and items missing from our orders. We did however return because the food was tasty and we could sit and not have to fight others in the buffet area if we happened to walk buy and see an available seat for us. On board Entertainment: I would’ve to say for the few shows we did attend, we really did have a good time at Greg Gleason’s magic show. He definitely is a A-List magician and we were lucky and privileged to have experienced his show while on board. We also saw the Choir of Man which again was a enjoyable show. The daily shows and activities that were going on in the atrium left many standing while the shows went on due to overpopulation of people and a lack of sufficient seating for guests to relax and really enjoy the shows and entertainment. There was many things going on throughout the day so there was always something to keep one occupied which was good. Bar Service: My wife and I both had the Unlimited Beverage Package which was nice. The only issue was it was never made clear to us that while we were ported we would incur taxes to our accounts unless we were out in the water and not at port. Everytime we visited the bar, we found our selves waiting for a very long time due to there only being a few bartenders to make drinks for the several thousand on board looking for service. We at times left to find another bar in hopes for quicker service. The bartenders were very friendly once we got service and the drinks were very good as well, but overall I was not impressed with the experience. Activities: My family and I did a few activities while on board to stay busy. The ropes course was one the kids really enjoyed the few times it was actually opened but the staff that manned the course were very abrasive, grump and somewhat rude to guest looking to do the course and have a good time. We felt very safe with the harnesses and had a good time once we were able to try. The mini golf course was fun and I had a good time doing this with my family. The fitness area was very warm and the few treadmills I attempted to use were unstable and shaky when running forcing me to use other equipment like the cycling bikes. The selection of gym equipment otherwise I felt was pretty decent compared to other cruise line onboard gyms. Swimming Area: The 2 swimming pools on board this ship I feel were not adequate causing the pools to be frequently overloaded and crowded with very little room or space to enjoy and relax in the heat. One pool solely for kids is not enough and the adults only pool was not enough either. The upper deck where the other hot tubs was almost always shut down with a sign saying closed due to high winds, I assume a safety concern but this was also a major inconvenience. There were not enough lounge chairs for the hundreds of guests in the area and this was unsettling as we had to walk around at times wasting almost an hour eventually finding a seat to place our items down to relax. There should be better monitoring of people throwing there items down taking up multiple chairs when they are actually unused so others could enjoy the area. Shopping: The shopping selection onboard was descent with somewhat decent prices to match. You can tell there are quite a markup on most jewelry and watch items but other watches and sunglasses were competitively priced. The tax free shopping was very good and allowed to save some money. Tendering and excursions: They day we were set to tender to Great Stirrup Cay was very exciting for us as our kids were looking forward to this the most. The process for tendering and getting the guests safely to the island went pleasantly well. Once on the island we were greeted my happy staff. We immediately claimed a lounge chair by the water and went to collect our snorkeling gear. All went well with getting our gear and getting ready to use in the water. At first the water was very calm as many people had not yet arrived to the island so we were able to see the many beautiful fish in the water through our goggles. This experience quickly got a little iffy as we had many times had other cruise guests come up to our chairs attempted to take our towels because they forgot there’s and actually having one guy take my wife towel and use to dry off. His mother came over and got really irate and childish acting towards my wife.My wife kept her calm and the lady finally walked off to her own area away from us. We did let the crew walking by know if this but it seemed they didn’t really understand what we were saying to well and kept nodding at us. We hate at the BBQ on the island that day; the food selection was somewhat limited and was not very warm either. It was quickly picked though and seemed to be rushed at being cooked and hot so everyone could eat, personally I feel it should have been prepared earlier so it was cooked thoroughly and hot for all cruise guests to enjoy… When the day was close to ending and our time to board the tender boat back to the ship was hear, we boarded the tender boat to find an overpopulation of people crammed and forced on to one available ship while another empty tender boat sat next to ours unused. This trip back to the ship after being crammed like sardines in a can and being sunburnt and hot was very unpleasant and unenjoyable. The day we spent in Port Canaveral came a little to soo causing us to miss out on extra time on the ship as we were all notified we had to get to Florida sooner due to an ill passenger on board. This caused us to have to get off the ship earlier than expecting and wait longer for our excursion to start for the one we picked. Time we were hoping to have spent a little longer to relax onboard in the hot tub we had found. Somewhat understandable due to the ill passenger but an unpleasant experience for us overall. Nassau day was fun for us as we were early to get off the ship and enjoy the shopping options of the island. getting on and off was seamless and the security did a good job ensuring all passengers were not bringing any prohibited items on board. After a long day of shopping we were back on board ready to set sail back to NYC port. Nassau to NYC Port: The next few days back to NYC port went by fairly quickly. After all the walking we had done and the sun we had received had us wanting to relax and enjoy our last few days on board. Again we were not able to receive much sleep due to the air leak noise in our room from our balcony, and the frequently present scent of marijuana from the guests underneath us found us not being able to wait soon enough to get off of the ship we had such a unpleasant experience with. We found the disembarkation process to be straightforward besides the fact once we were off the ship, we were forced to stand outside close to an hour in the freezing cold until we were allowed to get into the terminal to collect our bags; another unenjoyable experience!! Overall Experience: Overall my family and I did not really have a memorable pleasurable experience, with so many things going wrong while on and off the ship we feel this experience could have been 1000x better. In hind site, after this cruise we wished we hadn’t been on the cruise do to all the issues we faced. For the amount of money spent on this family vacation trip we now wish we saved our money and did something else. After this experience, we are unsure if we will cruise with Norwegian again as we feel the service has gone downhill compared to previous NCL cruises we have been on. The privateness and memorableness previously felt on other cruises was tarnished due to the issues we endured while on this cruise. This cruise was supposed to be a memorable and exciting time for all as my older son is due to leave for the military and my father in law had just passed the week prior. I was hoping for lifetime vacation; one we could enjoy and celebrate the life of our lost loved one and memories we could hold and cherish for time to come. Only to have memories of a horrible experience that we will have to share with others of our overall experiences we faced. I sincerely hope that Norweigan Cruise line can take this feedback and alter the way they treat and accommodate guests like us that have strictly and constantly chosen NCL for our cruise trips! Unsure as we are if we will ever cruise with Norwegian again after this ordeal I hope you can help and assist with turning around our unpleasant experience into a positive future experience. This is an honest review of our trip and a small portion of the unpleasantries we faced this time around. Update: NCL reached out to us last month, with only a "We're Sorry", no discount, assistance or help in making our unpleasant experience any greater! Just want to say, worst cruise I have ever experienced! Read Less

This is my 7th Carnival cruise and the last 2 I went on I swore not to give them another shot but I did one more time and this is the last time! The food was worse then Golden Corral, the only good meal was the steak house that I paid an extra $38 per person for but I will say it was great! The ship is decent older now and needs freshend up but over all in good shape, I won’t complain about the ship. The cabin Steward was awful never changed the sheets once and I know because I spilled a tiny bit of coffee on the top sheet and instead of him changing the sheets he took the top sheet off and used it as the bottom sheet and the bottom sheet as the top sheet! Also never vaccumed the cabin once that I could notice. Dining room service was pretty slow and took forever to receive the drinks. Also the room service food menu is sorry and went over the scheduled time for delivery. I am not a picky person but for a few hundred dollars more I will spend it to receive better quality food and service on another cruise line. Read Less

We chose this cruise because it sailed out of Manhattan which is convenient for us . The cruise was horrible right from the very beginning when we had to stand in the lines for hours upon hours. Our time to be at the port was at 11:30 and we began standing in the line at about 1115. We were corralled through the port for the next 3 1/2 hours before getting on the ship. By the time we got on our backs are killing us and we didn't really feel like doing anything. That was just the beginning to the lines. We waited in lines for drinks, in lines for dinner . if you ate breakfast or lunch in the buffet area, garden café, you had to walk around the circle 3 to 4 times trying to find somebody who is going to get up so that you could quickly grab their table and then wait for it to be wiped down. People were sitting outside trying to eat when it was only 40 degrees. There was literally no place else to sit. They gave my daughter the alcohol pass, she is only 13 and gave me the soda pass. Seems like a simple fix but we spent hours in guest services lines day after day. It took 3 days, 4 phone calls and 5 visits to guest services before this was fixed. Guest services will typically tell you you are all set just to get you out of the line and then you'll find out later that nothing was done. At least 6 hours of time was spent in Guest services, waiting and waiting. They were definitely not the only unhappy customers as the lines were always so long. We used the TV application to try to get reservations for a show but could not get a single show The entire trip. We were told it was sold out well before they sailed. One of our ports was cancelled (this is not their fault) but with everybody back on the ship there was literally no place to go. People were getting in fights over lawn chairs and everybody was miserable. The only excuse they could give people is that' they had too many people on board. They did not seem to understand that that was still all their fault! Food was very average but edible most nights. Cagney was good , moderno was okay, la cuccina was bad. Complementary dining was average. Mojito bar was great. Read Less

The staff was good but that’s about all I can compliment. Had a time to check in at the port and it took over 3 hours to get on the boat. Paid a lot of money for a cruise that was half the price at another time. No room in the kids camp so I paid full price for a child and they had nothing to do. The buffet was just OK and any of the sit down restaurants were slow. Dinner was no less than 2 hours each night. Got the arcade package and the amount of games for the kids to play was pathetic, and make sure you have any issues with the arcade package make sure who you speak to you get a name and write down the outcome and have them initial it. They scam you however they can. Pictures are absolutely outrageous in price, $25.00 for a 8 x 10, so it’s seriously highway robbery. The amount of money I paid for 2 people in a balcony room was $3400.00 and than had a $1600.00 bill when we got off the boat. I’ve cruised plenty before with other lines and this cruise line I felt like they totally ripped us off. Also they broke my Moms suitcase and they put a black silicone on it instead of filing out a claim form to have it replaced. Just very unhappy about 3/4 of the trip. Read Less

Let me preface this by saying I am usually a glass half full kind of person. I grew up without a lot so appreciate the little things in life and understand the value of a dollar. With that being said, I have never cruised before and probably never will after this experience. Too many people and not enough space. Getting on the boat was a nightmare 1 hour and 45 minute wait in line with bags in hand. The terminal is filthy. Then our rooms weren't ready so we sat outside on the cold deck with hundreds of others in 12 degree weather. I didn't realize we had other options on other floors to sit inside. My room was not vacuumed and Legos were on the floor. The mirrors had spots all over them. I cleaned the room before I unpacked. Very annoying after being cold and tired. During the remainder of the week things seemed to stay the same. Not enough chairs and crowded hot tubs, pool and activities. We were off the boat a total of 10 hours in 7 days. One short stop to Coco beach and one to Belmora island. I was ready to pull my hair out. We were unable to tender to Great Stirrup Cay which I understand is not the ships fault exactly, but from my research this happens often. Why advertise if it's a 50/50 chance the boat will stop? Our boat to Belmora island was in shambles and the island was disgusting with garbage and litter all over. Don't even get me started on the "luxury cabanas", it's embarrassing to advertise them as such. I wonder when the last time the pools at this place were cleaned. Getting off the boat was the best/easiest part. The sad part of all of this...my husband is 16 years in the Navy and coming up on a deployment and will be away from our family for the next 9 months or so. This was our last vacation before he leaves. I'm crushed. We tried to make the most of it but unfortunately it just wasn't feasible and we are cranky and tired from the whole experience. Read Less

I normally don’t write reviews, but I feel that my review might help other families make a better decision when chosen a vacation. Especially those whom value the health and the well-being of their families and loved ones. Some readers may find my review absurd and exaggerated but everything I will be mentioning in this review is true. We’re very easy-going people and not at all picky or complainers but this horrible experience is what prompted me to write this review. Please read it to the end and see the attached photos. We’ve been cruising and traveling for the past 20 years with many different cruise ship companies. The Anthem of the Seas was our 8th cruise with Royal Caribbean and most likely will be our last cruise with RC. Our first cruise with Royal Caribbean was onboard the Explorer of the Seas when it was a brand-new ship back in the early 2000’s. The difference between my first and last cruise with RC is like night and day! Royal Caribbean’s quality control, housekeeping, guest relations and overall services have dropped drastically over the past few years since our first cruise with them. Cabin: Upon entering my state room onboard, the Anthem of the Seas, I noticed a very strong human body odor. I picked up the blanket that’s on the bed and to my surprise the sheets were never changed from the previous guests! The sheets that are supposed to be white were a shade of yellow and filthy. I took a closer look and there was multiple human hair on the bed sheet. My two sons, whom are asthmatic, started to have asthma attacks. Luckily, we had two portable nebulizers with us for the boys. We walked out of the room to an open area on the 5th deck to get some fresh air. I returned to the room by myself to further inspect the room before my family can return to it. My findings were disturbing! Besides the filthy bed, the floor in the room was never vacuumed. The bathroom had more human hair in multiple places. But that’s not all! Mold! Yes, you read that correctly! Mold in multiple locations in the shower area. I walked around the room and found dust in every corner of the room. I took some photos and went to guest relations to bring it to their attention. The assistant director of guest relations showed up after the guest relations staff member called her to investigate the matter. She greeted me and heard what I had to say and then turns around and tells me that unfortunately due to fact that the ship is fully booked, she cannot upgrade my room or provide a different room for us!!! I said, madam, I’m not here to ask for an upgrade or a free lunch! I’m asking to have my room cleaned properly. I explained that my children suffer from asthma and that I have photos of the horrible sanitary conditions in the room. She asked to see the photos and I showed it to her. She then says that she is going to contact the directory of housekeeping to bring it to his attention and that the matter will be resolved immediately. That immediately promise was never fulfilled. I went back to the room to take my luggage in and went about my business with the family. Again, I went back to the room after lunch thinking that the room must be cleaned since it’s been over four hours since I brought it to their attention and to my surprise nothing was done!!!! After dinner we returned to the room and noticed that the room was vacuumed but nothing else was done. The mold is still there, the hair is still there, and the dust was also still there in every corner of the room. I made a second and final attempt to have the room properly cleaned and like the first attempt, I was promised that it will be cleaned immediately!!! On the 4th day of the cruise they removed the mold, but the hair and dust was still there in every corner of the room until the day we left the ship. The room was never cleaned properly. I never made a 3rd attempt to get the room cleaned because after 20+ years of traveling, I knew better not to ask a third time because if they truly cared, they would have cleaned it the first time I brought it to their attention. Dining: I've never been on a cruise where I had to wait on a long line to enter a restaurant. Even though we stopped by the dinning room on the 4th floor upon boarding to make reservation for the entire vacation, we had to wait on a long wait line every single night. The waiters and staff were friendly and helpful, but the overall service was terrible. Bread and water sometimes took more then 20 minutes to come to the table, appetizers would take another 30 minutes after that and main meal about 45 later!!! Completely unacceptable especially when you have young children whom are hungry and whom waited out side restaurant for 30+ minutes to get in and another hour and half to eat. Most times we had to take them for a slice of pizza before dinner to avoid the hassle of trying to have them patiently wait for the main meal. Food: The overall quality of food was okay although the main dining room and the Windjammer was boring at times because it’s almost the same menu every single night. Cleanness: The overall sanitary conditions on the ship was horrible. I noticed on multiple occasions that my table utensils had dry food on them. (see photos) Activities: You must reserve almost every activity there is. The play area was always crowded. I mean really crazy crowded. After the 2nd day my kids were not even interested to do any kind of activity because all the activities were always too crowded. The ship felt like it was overbooked. I know they can’t overbook it for safety reasons but that is how we felt. Other guests shared the same thoughts as well. There were many occasions where I had discussions with other guests about the ship and the overall services and we all felt the same. Disgusted! Service: The overall service was terrible Housekeeping was a disaster (read the cabin section above) food services was mixed; sometimes were better than others but overall terrible. Staff: Unlike how RC’s staff were back in the days (going back to the early 2000’s) most of the staff didn’t greet us or even smile. Some were very friendly, genuine and kind people, but the majority were not. I can’t blame them. The conditions RC puts these workers through would be tough on any human to live a normal life let alone be kind and friendly to anyone. Roberto, the housekeeping director was rude and obnoxious. The director of food services was a gentleman. I believe his name was Carlos. Usually the cruise director is all over the cruise making sure everyone is having fun! Never saw the cruise director and don’t know what she/he look like! Entertainment: The shows and the entertainers were okay, but defiantly nothing to be wowed about. Again, everything must be reserved ahead of time. Overall: The overall experience onboard the Anthem of The Seas was simply awful. Sadly, we’re Diamond Crown and Anchor members with about 8 cruises with RC but we’ve decided to never book another cruise with RC from this point on. We’re no longer recommending this cruise company to anyone. Thank you for reading. Read Less

Despite this ship being "refurbished" it is severely outdated!! I felt like areas such as the ceiling were not maintained well, many fixtures were tarnished and attention to detail was lacking. All our other cruises had different carpet to distinguish port vs starboard, however, this ship did not. The carpet was also stained and I saw a place where chunks were missing. The picture in the cabin did not match any of the other decor (more modern) and none of the pictures in the halls made me go, "Wow! That's cool." I was not impressed with service by any means. Our main waiter was a delight & very friendly, we felt like dinner (& even breakfast in the main dining) took forever. Sometimes up to 1.5 hours with 3 children. Not ideal. Our oldest also asked for a straw, every single night (sometimes multiple times) and received a straw maybe 4-5 times on a 9 night cruise. When we had breakfast in the main dining area we rarely saw whoever was waiting on us. We opted for the Wind jammer for most breakfasts for this reason. Lobster night was a disaster and our table went by the way side. The dining room was not full but it was obvious that the staff were running around like chickens with their heads cut off. The next day, my husband ran into our waiter who apologized and said they have to wait for the lobster and count each lobster tail that goes out. He said it's like that every lobster night. Entertainment left a lot to be desired! While the comedy shows & skits were funny and entertaining I would expect these type of events to be held at one of the bars. Almost ALL of the music is geared towards senior citizens. I hardly heard anything current or music I knew or enjoyed (in my mid 30's). Shows were skimped on in our opinion. I booked a 75 minute hot stone massage at the spa while in port and also stopped in to find out the class schedule in the gym. I thought the gym schedule was very limited and times were not convenient. For my massage, I arrived on time (15 minutes early) with another woman and there was no body at the receptionist desk. The gym trainer came out and after sitting at the desk for a few minutes finally asked what I needed. ((Umm...what?!)) He directed me to the relaxation room and I asked if I need to fill out any papers. He said, no that the massage therapist would handle this. The woman and I went to the room and she looked at me and said, "that was the oddest greeting I've ever had at a spa!" I couldn't agree more! On top of that, we sat for awhile before being greeted by anyone in the spa. And of course, there was paper work to fill out! My massage therapist was out at the desk helping people (as there was no receptionist there) and later apologized for the wait. I waited over 35 minutes between the relaxation room and a long time between undressing for my massage. There was NO discount taken, which really surprised me. There were no extras such as aromatherapy and no tea or snacks offered while waiting at any time. While the massage was lovely, it was over priced. Wi-Fi was not always reliable and in my opinion, $16 a day is outrageous for Wi-Fi. I would NOT recommend this boat for those cruising with children! We cruised with our children ages 2, 6 & 9. Our oldest, also has high functioning autism. There are not a lot of kid activities on board and seemed solely geared towards senior citizens. The kids club/nursery hours left a lot to be desired. The nursery is limited to 5-6 babies/toddlers at a time. The kids club is very small and is limited, I believe to 50 - 3-11 y.o. Overall, the staff was very nice & supportive! On Day #8, there was a belly flop contest & volleyball tournament in the ONLY pool that kids are allowed in. It was our last "nice" day (weather wise) on the ship -- why on earth would you close the pool kids are allowed in? I should also note here that NO swim diapers are allowed in the pool and that there are no areas for children to get wet who aren't potty trained. We were told by a lifeguard to just take the swim diaper off. ((Uhh...what?!?) The one activity that we really enjoyed as a family was the scavenger hunt. We had 30 minutes to find staff members from various countries. I was irritated with how many senior citizens who shushed my children (on excursions and the boat) and asked me to tell my children to be quiet & stop running around. For every time this happened, there were at least 3 couples (grandparents & parents cruising without children) who stopped to say we had a lovely family and sweet children. While I realize RC has nothing to do with this, it made my experience and my children's experience unpleasant. This is our vacation as well. We had an infuriating experience while boarding the ship in Charleston. The previous night we had asked guest services if we would be allowed to bring on (sweetened) Vanilla Almond milk as this is a dietary restriction and the only thing my autistic son will drink besides water. He also takes his medications in the milk (hides the taste). We also had a doctor's note asking to allow us to bring this on ship in port. She told my husband to follow up in the morning as she would email someone to find out. We did and at that point there was NO answer. The representative called security and they told us this would be NO problems bringing back on board. When we returned to the ship. The gentleman who scanned our cards confiscated the milk and told us that Almond milk had been provided in our cabin and that we were not allowed to bring on the almond milk. We explained that my son would not drink their almond milk because it was not sweetened and that we went through security with no issues, that they had approved it earlier in the day, etc. My husband spent at least 45 minutes fighting with various staff members. We were told that they attempted to contact us in our stateroom (never called either of our cell phones) and that they "changed their minds" per the FBM (Food & Beverage Manager) because they were having an inspection. My husband explained several times that this was a dietary & medical need for our son. We also argued that we brought on two containers in Baltimore with no issues. Why when we were still in the US would we have issues. And their website clearly states that food/drinks may be brought on for dietary purposes. Finally, after arguing the manager said, "Fine, I'll take a risk allowing you to bring this on." We also requested a fridge prior to our cruise and it was not in our stateroom when we arrived. Our stewardess brought a medical cooler but the almond milk did not fit in this and I kept our milk in a small cooler, getting ice every 12 hours. Once they provided us almond milk, they exchanged the cooler for a fridge on Day #3. Shore excursions booked through RC were NOT family friendly. We did a guided tour of Kennedy Space Center. This tour was between 11-7:30. There was NO planned lunch or dinner. This would have been nice to know having 3 small children. We bought junk to hold them over. There was no schedule provided and very limited free time. Our tour guide was knowledgeable but not very friendly. It was hard to hear her and quite frankly became boring (possibly due to the lack of food/energy). It was also A LOT of hurry up and wait. We also had an issue with this excursion because we did not realize our shore excursions tickets were left in our Day 1 daily "newsletter". We went to the shore excursions desk the night before to have them printed. However, the day of the excursion when we were standing in line, we realized that they printed my husband & I's tickets 3x each. Remember, party of 5. Our tour guide took ALL the tickets and told us to take it up with the shore excursion staff. The next day, we checked and the assistant manager was called and came out to explained that our credit card was charged for SIX adults but would be refunded after we explained the situation. Funny thing is, is the tour guide gave a count for those tickets, that assistant manager was not happy with them either. Our next RC shore excursion was at Atlantis (Nassau, Bahamas). We went on a small tour bus with about 25 people. We went in a door and we immediately were left behind with another family because there were NO ramps for strollers. Literally, we were left to find our own way through the resort. My husband and the other dad took turns carrying both strollers down the various steps. About 20 minutes later, after wondering around, we found our "guide" who had a few remaining people left and had to ask where the kids section was. She had zero clue that we were left behind. It was unacceptable!!!! On a side note: the family that we met at Atlantis were on their first cruise and had the exact same complaints that we had! They were wondering if cruising just wasn't for them. Overall, this cruise left A LOT to be desired. My husband and I have sailed 4 times, twice with our 3 children. I'm not sure if a bigger Royal Caribbean ship would suit us better or what. But I'm hesitant to book again with RC as we were not impressed. For a cruise line that offers Autism on the Seas program this was not even a kid friendly boat nor did the staff understand the needs for special needs children. After spending what we did, it was a disappointment. However, we tried to make the best of it. Read Less

The ship and my room had a horrible smell like a septic tank. I was not given a bootle to open on the last nighth of the cruise the bar tenders were rude. The stateroom steward was awesome. The ride going was rocky and the entire boat was sick. No storms so I was confused why it was that bad. Icalled to report all my issues to carvial, I was told they would research and call me back based on this site everyone was complaining so unsure what you need to research. I havent heard from them yet.I read this was training ship no wonder it was horrible. I would never go on Ecstasy again!!!!!!!!!!! Read Less

Our aunt planned a family birthday getaway that comprised of about 15 people and 7 cabins. Leading up to the trip the application and booking was seamless. However, the vacation was everything but seamless. I guess that because they had my money already. This was our first time sailing Royal Caribbean, but we cruise often on other cruise lines. Let me say Royal Caribbean spared no expenses when it comes to decor, features, and amenities. Please be advised though all of the features such as the escape room and wave runner are an extra charge. The boat also offers about 3 restaurants that are an extra charge. The food was absolutely terrible as well as the service and entertainment. The ship was supposed to stop in coco cay, but that didn't happen due to supposedly choppy waves so the ship couldn't tender people to the private island, which is currently under construct. When we went to customer service to Express our dissatisfaction they advised us to contact their customer sevice department, so for a 2 day cruise we were forced to have a sea day. About at 8 PM of the now sea day I'm still on my balcony wondering why the boat is so rocky and it seem like we were racing through the ocean. About 20 minutes later the captain comes over the pa and announces that we have to go back to Miami for an emergency stop to let someone off. Due to the speed and turbulence of the boat I became extremely sick. So much for a 2 day cruise, which I was in Miami for everyday single day of it.. The staff tried to accommodate guest with weak entertainment and extra activities, however that wasn't worth the money. For a first experience on Royal Caribbean I was truly dissatisfied. Upon returning home I called customer service as advise to Express my concerns for the vacation. I was hung up on 3 times by customer service representatives. The 3rd time I wouldn't even Express my issues and asked to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor was unhelpful and had terrible customer service skills. It was very frustrating for the boat staff to advise us to contact customer care then customer care give us the run around saying we should have addressed our concerns on the boat. No one took accountability! Needless to say I wouldn't advise Royal Caribbean. Read Less

My first cruise and my last. Didn’t help we didn’t even go to the Bahamas but we understood for safety reasons. Guest relations team didn’t help with WiFi issue once purchased. No reimbursement for WiFi we didn’t even use. Went to spa for a free pamper party but it was cancelled at the time we showed up. I injured myself on dance floor which was no ones fault but we called front desk to provide a ice pack and they didn’t come to our room until we called multiple times. Food was sub par. Long lines everywhere since we never left ship. My last cruise ever, horrible experience overall. We called to get a discount on another cruise since this one was so lousy and they said no a verbal apology is just fine?! Never take this cruise line. Wish I had a better experience. My cousin and I will never set sail again on this cruise Read Less

We are avid Disney Cruisers but thought a 2-night cruise would be great for my husband and I; it was not! After stepping foot on the ship, we noticed right away the smell of old smoke from the Casino area. If that wasn't bad enough, the fragrance they tried to mask it with make us nauseous. Deck 5 where ALL the shops and bars are was so hard to walk around, in the jewelry store, the associate followed us around like they do in furniture stores! We found that most of the crew members were not friendly or helpful. The waitstaff at the main dining room got upset that we didn't take their suggested choices at dinner time. Every where we went the first day, people were all trying to sell us something, drink package, internet package, specialty dining, etc. Our room was on Deck 9 and when we would turn to walk to our room all we could smell was sewage coming from the rooms. Our room had a musty smell to it as well. On Saturday night, we had to make a run back to Miami for a sick passenger to get off and all my husband and I wanted to do was get off with them! We will never again sail another cruise line but Disney. Read Less
