This was my 21st cruise, I am 57, and consider myself accepting of others….Maybe not? First the pluses, the crew were truly among the best I have encountered, they were kind, cool, efficient. The shower was awesome. The singles and solo event was fun and run right. It started with a social mix n match..went to sail away party, then ended with dinner, all be it in one of the worst ...

Virgin is not worth it!

I used to work on a major cuiseline on board, so I know the industry standard. I honestly believe that Virgin hyped up these amazing services they offer to all the travel agents when the ship was brand new to get their buyin and now that they have been up and running for a year have dropped the act and the cracks are starting to show. They were out of everything. You'd ask for food or a drink ...

Royal Caribbean vs MSC

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Meraviglia

I choose this cruise because I was looking for an option with a departure from Nj or Ny. Because I sailed recently with the Anthem of the Seas (Royal Caribbean - from NJ) I decided to go with MSC at this time. The check in process was very long, where our family spent almost 2 hours waiting in line. Parking was convenient (very close to the ship) and quick but a little pricey. Once ...

They took $2,000 from me

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Independence of the Seas

I had a decent time because I was with good friends. The food was terrible (buffet) all fried foods and low quality. Even the nights for the “formal dinning” was nothing more than the buffet food served on a nice plate with waiters. We decided to make reservations and pay extra for good food. That was a huge disappointment. I ordered lobster and it came out with a white sauce smothered all over ...

Did not enjoy this cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on MSC Seascape

I went on this cruise because of my brother had booked for a group of my family and friends to go. But I did not like it at all. The first day there was an accident on the port entrance of Miami. I know it was not the cruise's fault but from 11:30 am boarding time we did not get into the boat until around 9:30ish pm. While we waited in the port they did not offer any type of food or water, ...

Quality has gone down

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Seaside

We took a seven day cruise on the MSC seaside approximately five years ago. We had a great time and we're excited for our recent cruise. We even considered, before our recent experience, taking MSC cruises around Europe. The embarkation was no problem as we showed up when they told us, but our rooms were Fantastica balconies and smelled. My room smell like fish oil the entire trip, and our other ...

This is by far our first and last cruise . We had a horrible experience from the time we arrived till the time we left . At fist our luggage went missing and they weren’t able to locate it until 10pm. When we arrived to our cabin the carpets were stained and the room smelled like faucet. Not to mention The food was the same every single day. And the Fancy restaurants served really small portions . ...

Not enough reservations for all guests

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Scarlet Lady

Where do I start? I’ve been on several cruises & this is hands down the worst. 1. The day reservations for dining opened, they were all full. Standby waitlist was 10+ at all restaurants. I got tired of burgers from the Galley. They simply don’t have enough eatery space to accommodate all their guests. 2. The show venues are too small so you can’t get reservations to all the offerings, ...

The old Carnival is long gone!

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Elation

I recently took 7 family members on the Carnival Elation and to my surprise, this has been the worst vacation to date. The food, ports, service and entertainment was subpar. I’m convinced it left with Covid. If you’re looking for a budget cruise in amenities and staff attitudes, with prices and charge ups that doesn’t balance, please book now. I have been on three other cruises with Carnival and ...

MSC- Must Smell Crap

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Seascape

I don’t normally write reviews but after my most recent cruise experience on MSC Seascape, I had to tell my story. First, they failed to properly process my cabin upgrade upon Embarking (more on this later). When my wife and I first boarded the ship I was hit with an order similar to a septic tank! It was horrible and all over the ship. Many places on the ship did not have adequate air ...
