Some of my friends and I decided to take a chance on MSC since they were accepting our reward status from our MOST PREFERRED cruise line. Big mistake for me! So where do I start?
1) I did not meet my cabin steward until the third day after I had complained to guest services that I had no idea who it was or even if it was a male or female. I had to leave a note the second day to please give ...
My cousin choose this cruise to celebrate her 40th birthday. The cruise was overpriced with what I got. The customer service was terrible. Paid for a balcony room and got a room with a big red boat in front of it. Tried to complain was told we had to pay more for another room because we picked that room, when in fact Virgin choose the room. The bed was so hard that it hurt my back. Plus they lost ...
Never in my entire life have I seen so many old people in one place. If you are younger and going to have fun with people in their 20’s or younger this is definitely not the cruise line for you. Because the ship is mostly all elderly people most of the activities are for old people. Ship was so boring spend most days taking naps till the one good event of the day if there was any. Most cruise ...
The food:
While the food looked good it wasn’t actually. The selection is minuscule in comparison to other cruises. The casual cafeteria doesn’t provide breakfast past 11am (you’d think they’d realize some people wake up late and want breakfast). They close the casual cafeteria at ridiculous times throughout the day, while not providing anything other than pizza. The pizza diner is terrible ...
This was a very horrible experience. This is not a vacation, this is a kind of hell. AVOID MSC!
Everything is not managed. The ship is overcrowded because no logistics how to spread passengers over the ship during the day. Long lines are everywhere. Food is horrible and oversalted. The crew is rude and unprofessional. Cocktails are just joke. The food in restaurants is not eatable. Even room ...
I was so excited about this cruise, my wife’s first. We chose MSC because of decent reviews and a deal on the drinks package. The price was comparable to other competitors. What we received was far below what I could have ever imagined.
Upon arrival in our cabin, we quickly found the appearance to not match the photos of the room online. Our room was missing pool towels and toilet paper ...
I chose this cruise due to the affordable price. My husband and I sailed on a 4 day Bahamas cruise with MSC. I was very disappointed.
Embarking was a breeze, but it went downhill after that.
We had a couple of hours to go before the cabin was ready. So, we headed to the bar first. It was so terribly crowded that it took an hour to receive my first drink. After, waiting that long, I ...
We went on this cruise to celebrate my husband's birthday. My son is 15 and my daughter is 13. We thought this was going to be the cruise of a lifetime. Boy were we wrong! There was nothing for them to do besides the Waterpark which was closed half the time because it rained 3 out of the seven days on the cruise. We spent around $500 between the arcade and bingo just to keep them entertained. The ...
My husband and I have always cruised with a different cruise line, but we thought we'd be open to a new experience. What a HUGE mistake. Here's how our experience went:
No food made to order from individual eateries. Everything is buffet style, except in the dining room. The exact same foods served every day on the buffet.
No bottled water for our cabin. Have to pay $4/bottle.
Cabins ...
Freedom cruise from 8/5 - 8/10
We just got home from our first ever Carnival cruise and it will also be our last.
We had the most miserable trip of our lives. This was our 14 year old sons first cruise and it was a total waste of our money. We paid for priority boarding and got our luggage long after people who did not have priority. We paid for the soda package for our son but would have ...
