Review of MSC Seashore cruise March 17-24, 2024

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Seashore

7 day cruise on MSC Seashore March 17-24, 2024 For background we are a couple around 70 years old. Have cruised about 15 times on several lines so not novices, but not super cruisers. Overall we had a good time, but many aspects of this cruise were confusing. We do not plan to cruise with MSC again. First of all, the good. Embarkation was smooth and quick. Cabin was good as most. ...

No entertainment, food not good,

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Legend

Because it got dood reviews and it was leaving from Baltimore. Unfortunately we had a very rough ride down and back and weather was not good anywhere but Half Moon Cay but that not the cruises fault. The food however was not very good, didn’t even look appealing. There was no entertainment really other than comedian who was very good and some piano bar etc. just a bunch of games and auctions ...

Don't Waste Your Money!

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Oceania Vista

Run, run as fast as you can! The service on this ship was pathetic at best. The staff tried as hard as they could. However, I also think the lack of a proper number of staff causes burnout and permeates an "I don't care" attitude. The destination team did not provide the services advertised for Silver Cove, and the overall cruise was not worth the money. There are better experiences for the cost ...

Very disappointed, cruise experience has gone downhill

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

I very much regret our latest cruise on Mariner of the Seas. We went during a busy time (spring break season), but the boat felt especially crowded. It was very much akin to how airlines started squeezing as much people in during the last decade or two- the cruise felt overbooked and there wasn't a single space, bar, or restaurant that wasn't jam packed or didn't have a line. In addition, the ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Nieuw Amsterdam

Let me first start off with the good: The crew was very nice on the ship (except the guest services). They pamper you like you are a Saint, even if you do not want it. The ship was clean and neat. They communicated very well with the guests on all activities and upcoming shows. There were plenty of elevators and the ship was not overly crowded. The rooms were good size and the internet was decent. ...

Not a fun cruise at all

There were way too many people packed in for the amount of space. Elegant night was a joke. We sat pushed between a divider and another couple and it was so loud in there no one could hear each other. This was after a two hour wait. We sailed on this ship several years ago and really enjoyed it. The Captain's night was very relaxed and special, a lovely dining experience. On this cruise, ...

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Odyssey of the Seas

I have 12 Royal cruises under my belt before this and number 13 was NOT the lucky one. I cruised with my wife and my 17 year old son. This was the first RC cruise I went on where I did not have that, "I want to come back" feeling. The GOOD 1. Our waiter in the main dining room was spectacular. She was the shinning star of the cruise. 2. The casino was less smokey compared to other ...

I purchased to travel the Dominican, my boyfriend 1st cruise. 56 b- day. We never had been, been to the DR, wed been to Bahamas several times, it's considered a filler stop/ cheap trip. Virgin stated a person fell ill and had to be air lifted, this is unfortunate, (I hope the person recovers and is doing well) people have made their transition on ships and it takes it 4- 6 hrs maybe off course. ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

I have cruised Carnival before and did not have issues but I have never booked excursions or room decor before so maybe this is standard. I ordered birthday decorations which they sold me but “ran out of” even though I ordered well in advance and had I known prior I could have brought decorations. Also booked an excursion, got the tickets then the night before got a cancellation notice. No real ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

This cruise was for our 3rd anniversery on the 11th. We cruised with Royal last year on Jewel of the Seas last year for our 2nd and had a great time. So this year we decided to take Royal again. And looking at Oasis it seemed like it had a lot of potential for a great time. I can honestly say the only great thing about it has been our room attendant and our immediate wait staff in the dining ...
