This was my first time on a cruise and after talking to other sailors on the cruise - it seems like I have been spoiled and set up for disappointment in other cruises!
This cruise was so fun!! Everything was on point! The ship was beautiful! The crew was so helpful and attentive! The food was delicious! The activities and amenities on the ship and the excursions were so interactive and fun! ...
We liked the islands that this cruise went to especially the Dominican Republic because we’ve never been there before. We were disappointed in the beach that we chose for our excursion. The sand was coarse and not the white powder sand I thought we’d find. The ship was larger than we usually like but got a lot of walking in from one end of the ship to the other. The casino was fun. The payouts ...
My wife, sister, and I sailed a Southern Caribbean Cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Odyssey of the Seas in April. It was an 8-day trip to Coco Cay, Curacao, and Aruba from Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale.
An antigen test requirement was needed no sooner than two days before boarding, which was simple. Make sure you have absolute proof of who you are – a driver’s license or passport is good, ...
Chose trip mostly for the adult only experience…the food was great .. great eating concept… had no trouble getting a table without a reservation. Found drinks to be very expensive.. and the cabin bathroom to be very tight. This review requires 150 words so I will just start rambling.quite a variety of breakfast choices… usually ate lunch about 3 pm had plenty to choose from …. Restaurant foods ...
Beautiful new ship. Staff great. Dining room and Lido food good. No lobster, entres not as pricy but we all know why. Recommend trying some of their creative concoctions. I tried their beet, orange and goat cheese salad and scraped my plate! In-room dining good... menu is very limited now but kudos for them keeping it free. Enjoyed breakfast every day. Two main points....we got the "Have it all" ...
The ship was beautiful and spotless. Food in the buffet was outstanding (best buffet at sea in my opinion). Food was not as good in the main dining room except for the Culinary Council dinner midway through the cruise. Service in the main dining room was also not very good: The servers were rushed and harried and empty plates sat on tables. The stateroom was very attractive and well-appointed. ...
We were finally able to take our cruise booked 2 years ago and put on hold until now. We went with our 14 yo and 18 yo boys who were in a balcony room next door on 10th floor near elevators. We got a better room for them using some cruise credit (was interior room).
Our flight was cancelled 12 hours before takeoff by Southwest so we drove 16 hours to Ft. Lauderdale and stayed near airport in a ...
We chose this ship because it is relatively new, and wanted to see what it had. The itinerary changed a little before we cruised, but we still LOVED the ports! We ended up going to Nassau, San Juan, Puerto Plata, and Ocean Cay.
The kids water area, Pirates Cove, was our favorite!! The water slides were a blast -- especially the one where you sit on a double tube!! We went multiple times each ...
After two longs years of waiting, we finally got to sail again (we Lift & Shift'ed to this sailing from an April 2021 sailing)
Cabin: We were originally in a 1B balcony cabin on deck 6, but were moved to a E2 Infinite Veranda cabin on deck 8 after two days due to a broken water pipe. For us, this was indeed an upgrade, although many other cruisers don't like the infinite verandas. I really ...
My Partner and I were happy to return to cruising after a 2 1/2 year hiatus due to Covid. It was wonderful and Celebrity did not disappoint. This was our 5th cruise on Reflection (out of 41 cruises) over the years and we were glad to be back aboard. The ship was approximately 50% full and all passengers and staff were fully vaccinated. Overall, the ship was beautiful for her age. There were ...
