Chose this cruise as our reintroduction to cruising following Covid shutdown and weren't disappointed.
Carnival offered precruise Covid testing in the terminal (reservation required) in Port Canaveral for $10pp. The testing was quick and efficient and we were set to sail in minutes. Check in was a bit of a wait but expected since our check in window was among the first for boarding. Upon ...
Planned for this cruise almost 3 years ago. Originally we were booked on the brand new Sky Princess for Jan. 2021, but due to Covid, it was cancelled and later scheduled to the brand New Enchanted Princess. This was our first local group with a bus tour. There were approximately 90 people, mostly seniors who boarded a fairly new coach to drive to our first nights lodging in Vero Beach, FL. ...
Long-time Princess cruisers, we returned to Princess after the long hiatus and after our October cruise aboard the Celebrity Edge. We were anxious to see how Princess has evolved in comparison to the Edge's innovative design and services. We had previously booked the Enchanted for her inaugural Trans-Atlantic voyage in 2020, so we were excited to be on her while she is still very new.

This was my 50th cruise and we are Elite. There was a line at embarkation which wasn't handled very well but the Medallion made it easier to check in. We had a glitch with Covid testing which made for a rough precruise day but we did have a back up Binax Now test with us which I recommend. We stayed at the AC Marriott Dania, a new hotel in a nice area. Since we had the drinking package we didn't ...
Staff was great at all locations on the ship. Ship needed to be updated and had many minor issues such as some elevators not working properly at all times. Water leaks in some areas of the ship. I believe it is going in to dry dock shortly so maybe they will fix most issues. Some of the shows were very good in the main theater some were so so. There wasn't much to keep you busy during the day ...
Took advantage of a last minute deal for a balcony cabin which did not have a single supplement as my husband had to work but encouraged me to go. The Free at Sea promotion had some value but I would probably go for just the "cruise only" option if I were to do it again. I am not a big drinker and because of Covid I am very limited on the excursions I am willing to take as I won't participate in ...
We joined Symphony on 2/5 boarding was a breeze on board and in stateroom in under twenty minutes. The ship is and when we left on the 26th spotless the crew constantly cleaning . We were a bit apprehensive about cruising when we first boarded but that immediately lessened when we saw how much the protocols where observed by crew and passengers. It’s amazing how quickly we got used to mask wearing ...
Norwegian Escape truly lived up to its reputation!
*All servers in all food and drink areas were absolutely astounding. They were attentive, efficient, courteous, and made you feel special and respected. Several servers remembered our names and welcomed us back by name. Jerry was especially happy and attentive and worked with speed and accuracy daily on the pool deck!
*The food was ...
We chose a short cruise to test out cruising for the first time. We weren't sure if it was the right kind of vacation for us or not. Two other couples joined us, and we all had a fantastic time. The destination wasn't super important to us, but we enjoyed both stops. I was worried that Coco Cay would be too run over with kids, but we found a cozy spot at Chill Island to enjoy the beach and sun, ...
Overall, we would recommend the cruise with the caveat that it is not for everyone. If someone wants to be constantly entertained, a flow rider, and/or a 20-something party boat (Carnival-style ship), this is not for them. We wanted to relax and we were able to but there were also plenty of activities to keep us busy.
