Went on my first cruise, carnival pride and was not impressed at all, the food was subpar and some of the staff didn’t seem like they wanted to help and seemed bothered if I stopped them to ask a question. Our neighbors had there kids unattended running up and down halls all night and slamming doors and we reported it several times and finally the day before we got home the noise stopped. So many ...
I love to cruise during presidents week because I am a teacher. Being in the ship with kids does not bother me much. After my 5th attempt I finally made it to the private island but just say it does not compare to RCCL Cocokay at all! Only thing served was some burgers and tiny tacos with soda. Royals private island gives you a FULL lunch and readily accessible drinks. Not one time did I see a ...
My husband and I picked Encore for our 15 year wedding anniversary getaway. The first one without kids. We were so looking forward to poolside relaxation and sunshine. The promise and allure of a shiny new ship seemed wonderful. After we started reading reviews after its initial voyages, we could tell there were going to be problems.
I contacted customer support in advance of my cruise to ...
We chose this cruise for Jamaica, which was very disappointing, it's very dirty and people are trying to sell you everything from taxi's to weed! The ship itself is not fun! You have to make reservations for almost everything, which we did not know ahead of time. We were able to see the shows but only because we were willing to stay up late to catch them, otherwise we wouldn't have seen ...
My husband and I took our children and grandchildren on NCL for 2 occasions. First, our youngest and his wife's 30th Birthday and Second, one of our son's deploys again first week of March. This was supposed to be an enjoyable, relaxing family vacation. It was the complete opposite. We had 6 rooms. All but 1 were on the 12th deck. They stuck our daughter on the 10th deck in a room closest ...
Go to your nearest Mall. Double the price of coffee, triple the price of beverages, then add sociopathic security guards who enforce confiscatory policies by leveraging safety to take money from you.
Examples include the policy that you can't wash your bathing suit, because doing your laundry is unsafe (safety is $35 a bag for wash service), video games involving balance on a fake boogie board ...
My family hadn't been on a cruise and the Seaside looked like it would cater to us and our children. The food was in general good. Many choices for the family. We opted for the Aurea experience so had flexibility on the time in the dining room. They do have a very limited Gluten Free menu (which I needed). If you are GF, the buffet is somewhat challenging.
Now the downsides:
1. Time ...
Worst cruise experience ever. Have cruised several times on a number of cruise lines and would not recommend MSC at all. Service was poor, food was lousy - same thing every day and not that good. Ship was full of international travellers so you had to hear all announcements in about 4 languages - even interrupted shows at night for announcements.
Aurea - had some nice things to buying ...
We have cruised 8 times (3 with NCL) and this was far and away the worst cruise trip that we have experienced.
The Breakaway was obviously at capacity on 02/15/2020 and the crew simply could not handle 4,000 guests.
Port Canaveral is very easy to get to, there is ample parking and embarkation SHOULD have been quick and easy. It was not. We were told that you could not board until noon. Many ...
We booked this cruise as we planned to meet some family we hadn't seen in years. When we got on the ship we rode the elevator to Deck 15. the pool and bar areas. Got off and got hit in the face with smoke odor. They put a smoking hut in the middle of where there should be two lines of lounge chairs. We the went to Spice H20 the adults only area. We found MORE smoking areas. Went to O'Sheehan's ...
