Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

We have sailed on over 7 cruises (RC, Carnival and NCL) and this was the most disappointing cruise yet. The most glaring disappointment was in the food and beverage area. While we (myself, brother and Dad.. to celebrate his 90th birthday) managed to find something to at the Windjammer buffet MOST of the time, the main dining room was horrible, both for breakfast and especially dinner. It seams ...

This cruise had the following itinerary: Depart Port Canaveral, two ocean days, one day in St Maarten, one day in St Thomas USVI, another ocean day, one day in Coco Cay, returning to Port Canaveral the following morning. We have done several Royal Caribbean cruises in the past. The cruise was fun but not great, especially after two years cooped up due to COVID. This cruise was our second time ...

This trip consisted of two six night cruises back to back. The fist one did Costa Maya, Cozumel and Bimini. The second was the same except Nassau was substituted for Bimini. We had not been to Bimini so this was a treat as we have been to most ports of call in the Caribbean many times. It would be good to go there again and take a taxi into the town rather than going around to the various ...

I love the Virgin brand and the virgin culture. I was really looking forward to my cruise on 24th (not 23rd) April 2022. The ship was great, the staff superb, tech and cabins amazing and the food outstanding. I have seriously never eaten better food at sea. However, I am a male solo traveller with 12 previous cruises under my belt and I am a musician with a penchant for great entertainment. I am ...

Embarkation was quick and we were able to get right on the ship. We chose this cruise because we had cruised on this ship twice before and to join friends who had also cruised on this ship in the past. The itinerary was the same as most eastern Caribbean cruises but docked at San Juan at 2:00PM which suited us since we like to go for cappiccino coffee. The crew that we encountered were awesome! ...

Love that RC is now on the west coast, so much closer to home. Booked as a mother daughter trip for her graduation. Upgraded as a surprise to a JS, even though not many perks apply to this level ship. Was not able to check in priority with the suites, was sent to main line, so one perk not honored. Check in guy said well this is close enough.Well that was a perk but ok. Once onboard you can tell ...

Chose Celebrity because I had always heard how wonderful they were and we were looking for a quick getaway. The moment we entered our cabin we noticed a horrible odor coming from the bathroom. We assumed it would subside, but it did not. It literally made us sick to our stomachs. We thought about changing to another stateroom, but I smelled the same odor in one of the public restrooms as well and ...

Been on many cruises from RC a little disappointed this time from the very casual dress in the dining room on formal night to dirty disgusting floors around inside and outside pools they wiped up water right by the pools but that was it they use to clean the chairs and decks every night our cabin was spotless our room steward did an awesome job I am trying to figure out why you cannot get a ...

Booked last weekend after recceing email offer. Chose the cruise based on the Virgin reputation, time, price, etc. Prior booked trans Atlantic cruise was cancelled by Virgin. Beautiful ship but extremely confusing to navigate. Disappointed with entertainment options. We are not gym or yoga people. Nowhere near enough "other" entertainment options - very boring much of the day. ...
