I cruised with a group for a 60th birthday. We had originally booked a 7 day cruise with a different cruise line but the ship needed to be dry docked and they canceled our cruise two weeks before we were set to sail. The Sun had availability so we booked the 5 day cruise for the same week as the original cruise. I saw this as a great opportunity to try a different cruise line and I was excited ...
We originally were booked for the Cuba cruise but that was changed and everyone knows that story. So our destination was truly the ship and it’s amenities because we live in Florida and know Freeport and Nassau like the back of our hand. So we were booked in the Owners Suite number 9201. This comes with a butler and concierge. I’ve been booked in the Captains Suite on the Carnival Conquest and ...
DO NOT BOOK THIS CRUISE! We had a family reunion / birthday party on the ship. The ship/cruise line was picked by someone in the family who cruises often and promoted the trip as a "great deal" . Although I was happy that someone else planned the trip, this is the last trip that family member will ever plan for us...#sensationFail. There was "NOTHING GREAT" about this cruise, and Carnival ...
We chose Carnival Pride because the departure city of Baltimore is about an hour away, so no airfare required. Drove to the harbor and had to wait maybe 20 minutes for luggage drop-off and parking. Check-in went quickly at our appointed time. The walk up the gangplank is a bit of a hike if you're out of shape and lugging much carry-on.
We splurged on this cruise because we were celebrating our ...
We chose this cruise for our ten year anniversary trip. We liked the itinerary and the six days worked well for our schedule.
We flew into Ft. Lauderdale the day prior and stayed at the Renaissance Hotel. We have stayed here before cruises in the past. It’s a nice clean hotel and is right at the entrance to the port so it’s a very short taxi ride.
We left the hotel around noon and were on ...
We arrived early for our 1 PM check-in time and were boarded within minutes. We had a balcony cabin, 5244. The view was great, the bed comfortable and cabin clean. It was very nice, but was a bit short on storage space for 3. We had an excellent wait staff. The food in the dining room was FABULOUS. The buffet was ok. Breakfast was a bit ho-hum, but not a big deal. Guys burgers was possibly ...
The embarkation process went smoothly and quickly. The spa balcony room was clean and a good size. The balcony was nice and we had our steward open up the balcony dividers between the rooms our friends were in. Hanging out on the balcony was great. The food on the cruise was awesome and we never had a bad meal. We ate in the dining room 4 nights and at the steakhouse for 1. It isn't necessary ...
Our family cruise to the Bahamas Pros...The entertainment, staff, activities, Adam (cruise director), and Guys Burger was good. Cons..the cabin was horrible! When we first walked into the cabin it was sticky stuff on the carpet. We were told by housekeeping that he tried to clean it but it wouldn’t come clean. We were told that we would have a king size bed and a rollout bed but instead of getting ...
We overall enjoyed our cruise to the Eastern Caribbean. Our two interior cabins were clean and well kept. (It would have been nice for Princess to choose a floorplan that sacrificed a bit of closet space in order to expand the size of the shower, though. At 6'1", my "wingspan" in the shower was much more important than having six superfluous feet of closet space in which to hang a handful of ...
We love Princess and it services. The Buffet is outstanding...service can not be matched by and other cruise line. Carribean Princess and it staff are wonderful. Our Cabin (P327) was maintained the way we would expect. If we did not see something we would ask for it and sure nough it would be there by the next day.
Our dining on board (anytime dining) was superb.,......the waiters ...
