I sailed with my two adult children and 8 yr old granddaughter. We chose this ship for her and the myriad of things for her to do.
The ship is beautiful and my cabin, a superior balcony, was very roomy with a lot of storage. The balcony was roomy also, with two lounge chairs and foot rests.
We dined in many different areas of the ship. The Icon restaurant, one of the main dining rooms we ...
This was our first MSC cruise and we were certainly impressed with the beauty of this magnificent ship. Let's start at the beginning. The check-in process on embarkation day, though smooth, could have been quicker if there were more agents available. All went well but we were surprised to find out they didn't link your credit card to your cruise card at that point. Not a big deal, just a bit ...
My wife and I booked this cruise for a quick mid-summer getaway. We have sailed out of Charleston many times and this time we parked off-site and took an Uber to the port.
The check-in process is ina modified building in the parking lot instead of the main terminal. Once we checked in less than five minutes we were shuttled over to the main terminal.
we had priority boarding so the boarding ...
We've sailed on many cruises and we've had rooms all over a variety of different ships. Our room on this ship was 8661 that was directly over the Bliss Lounge, which is really the only place for nighttime entertainment on this small boat. Needless to say our room was SO LOUD until 2 am every. single. night. I could sing every single word of every song that the band or dj was playing because the ...
My family went on this cruise&just got back yesterday. It was my first cruise so i didnt know what to expect.it was really fun overall. the rooms were very small. &the bathroom was very tiny, you had to close the door to use it. our steward cleaned our room well but the bad part was that they never changed the sheets. the dining restaurants sunset and sunrise were awesome. i really enjoyed the ...
Convenient, reputable and reasonably priced. NCL for the most part delivered on our expectations with only a couple of exceptions. Pools were too small and the adult pool was 5.5 to 6.5 feet which made casual relaxation uncomfortable. We stayed in the over crowded kids pool which was ignored by NCL with no life guard or presence.
Most of the NCL staff was pleasant and accommodating however the ...
Planned and looked forward to this once a year itinerary for well over a year, sorry Disney but because of this poorly executed sailing we are trying another cruise line; just cancelled our B2B in 2020 and booked with RC. This 11 day sailing was fraught with sub par entertainment at best, even the Aladdin musical was reportedly an understudy who could not sing! The movies were the same repeated ...
I chose this cruise because I had a pleasant experience with Carnival 2 years ago on the Carnival Liberty. I should have chosen another cruise line, the first trip seemed to be a one-off lucky good time.
SHIP CONDITION:
The sunshine is dirty, tired, and cabins DO smell as reported in other reviews. The porter entered our room without permission, and with the DND tag hanging on the door on ...
We selected this cruise last minute as a birthday celebration and booked it only a few weeks before departure. We booked a Grand Suite and we really enjoyed all the extra space in the cabin. However, there are really no perks to getting a suite on this ship other than a few free bottles of water and priority check in. Embarkation is a breeze with priority check in. We went through security ...
This particular cruise that we took was a re-route from Cuba. The price was good and I wanted to see Freeport which I hadnt seen in years. The Norwegian Sun is an older ship, but was surprisingly fun and very enjoyable. The nighttime shows were excellent with a huge cast and a very big stage. The only two things I didnt like was the casino which was so smokey I could only take it for 15 ...
