Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

We chose this cruise just to try Carnival since we have only been on RCCL and NCL. Never again. The ship was dirty and rusty. It had just come out of dry dock so I have no idea why all the windows and our balcony were dirty. We ate at Ji Ji and the windows were so dirty I closed the curtains. Used the public restrooms and time of day didn't matter - they were dirty. The food was o.k. Guys ...

Not what we expected from Grand suite on a Royal Caribbean cruise.

This was a birthday cruise celebration for both my husband and I, We choose to do the RoyalUP and upgraded to a grand suite. Very disappointed with the lack of not having the usual greeting at the port or the nice welcoming extras in the cabin for suite guest. As we were expecting it since we paid extra for a suite. We have done close to 40 cruises over the years, mainly with Royal ...

50 High School Reunion. Embarkation was very smooth from the luggage drop off to ship. Was very disappointed in the food on this ship as the buffet had plenty of choices but was only ok. The main dining was horrible, many times arriving cold. 1st time in my life I had to send back food which we did on every night there. Not many specialty dining venues as the steak house was exceptional and ...

More Cons than Pros this trip

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

From start to finish, the process to get on and off the boat was painless and pretty fast. The app needs quite a bit of work. There is a lot of conflicting information and it is not the best when it comes to being user friendly. There was a lot of miscommunication between the staff on and off the boat. We took into consideration a possibly new crew, but we had issues with required items that we ...

Pros: Great Bar BQ, desserts , Ice show, aqua80 and Magician. Cons: everything else! food horrid, Cabin service; never saw him, Cruise director, hid the whole trip. Cool decking around each pool needs to be redone. There are no printed itineraries to inform you of days events. $30.00 /day for 2 for cabin gratitude for someone to make a bed and a towel animal every night seems excessive. $2.50 ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Spirit

The port in Jacksonville was very easy to find and to get a park. So much better than New Orleans. No homeless people hanging out like New Orleans. The Embarking and Disembarking the ship was total chaos! We had verifly app and had a passport. We didn't get out of there until 11:30 a.m.! Having a passport did help some, but not much. Embarking and Disembarking was so much better on Carnival ...

Food on buffet was good but did not seem like it changes much from day to day. Burgers and Hot Dogs were almost unedible, under heat lamps and dried out. Sodas were like $3.75 each, buffet drink area for water or lemonade you had to be served by a waiter behind a roped off section but you were allowed to serve yourself on the buffet line ? Main Dining room portions were smaller as compared to ...

I like to try different cruise lines. I was looking forward to this one and was dissapointed. The food and service were very good. The music that played everywhere was not to my liking and the entertainment was spotty. Plus we did a back to back and nothing changed in the way of entertainment, not even the flute player every night. I did like have a bracelet that works as your room key and ...

Disappointing Cruise with No Shows

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Anthem of the Seas

We picked this cruise based on the strength of the shows, specifically the Queen themed, "We Will Rock You". Our departure date was on 3/27/2022. Once on board, we slowly discovered that there would be no shows. The first day we were told the app was down and that was why we could not book any shows. The next day, they finally told us that "We Will Rock You" had been canceled. It eventually ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

Myself and my wife both tested positive one day after the debarkation. The covid 19 rules were not enforced anywhere even in small bars with a high energy atmosphere singing and dancing. There were people three times the capacity in Syd bar at any performance. We were literally inches from each other faces without masks. My wife and myself were the only one wearing a mask. 99.9% of people were not ...
