Sorry that this review is all over the place, so much to say, with little time. This was my second trip on Breakaway and third time to Bahamas. I had a great time on the cruise with my family. Got to the pier by 10:00AM(dropped off by my bro in law), boarding group 7 on the ship by 11:50AM. We registered both my dd and nephew in entourage and splash academy in the terminal. We ate at ...
This was the second time my family took an Easter Cruise. We dined at Anytime Dining and my wait staff, Lailani's team, were on awesome! We ate at her table every night! She always had my husbands coke at the table and remembered are names! Another name I would like to mention, as far as bar service, is Danny. That man was everywhere! At the comedy club, on the lido.......great service with ...
I read so much negative comment about this ship to the point I started to worry about the trip (my 18th cruise, 6th on RCCL). We got to the terminal about 10:30 am but there were already several hundred people checked in inside the building. The check in was kind of ok, with one young staff member giving us wrong info inside the terminal, luckily another lady clerk stepped in & got it all taken ...
Norwegian Breakaway is a very nice ship. I first took it in July 2014 to Bermuda, very pleased on how good the ship was despite mixed reviews. This trip I began to see what some of the poor reviews were talking about. Service is slow in some venues. O'Sheehans for example was a hit or miss. mozzarella stick were cold every time, fries and burgers were not hot, and the servers were not attentive to ...
This cruise had some great things let's start with the positive. I apprecited the relaxed atmosphere, the mature crowd, and the freestyle dinning. The staff had excellent customer service. No matter what time of the day you say them they were always smiling and friendly. The shows were to die for. Don't miss the Cirque Fantasy Dinner Show. The cabin was a bit small inside but the beds were ...
We have been on 3 cruises over the past year; on Disney, Royal Caribbean and, for the first time, on Princess. Let me start by saying that we enjoyed all 3 cruise lines and would rebook with any of them. That said, we liked the Princess Regal cruise the best of the three and may end up back with them
PROS
Beautiful ship. Always found seating in the buffet restaurants (sometimes a problem on ...
I was on the April 5th 2015 Quantum sailing. One of the last before Quantum leaves for China. Overall it was a very good trip. There were some hiccups, and service was ok. Probably mostly cause they were in the middle of training all the new crew members that are taking over once the ship gets to the Far East. It was also crowded with a lot of kids, but that's because several states give the ...
Not being a fan of the big city, I was immediately irritated by the inaccurate location that was provided for parking. The address that was provided to us did not get us to the parking area with our GPS. When we did finally find it, we were gouged for $280 to park for the week. We chose to drive because we didn't want to be dependent on bus or train schedules. The upgrade to the Haven paid ...
It is now one week since we disembarked the Quantum of the Seas. Our cruise mates, my wife and I have sailed on about 40 cruises, most of them together. We've been on Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Princess, NCL, Viking and Avalon. I have reviewed many different places we visit and try to be fair, objective and understanding.
Quantum of the Seas is certainly bold, innovative, and daring.
We ...
The ship is high tech on the high seas. Arrived at port of liberty at 1015 am and was on the ship at noon. There is no special advantage to being a diamond member since people sit in relation to time scheduled by the computer assigned to you. No bus ride the ship and platform to deck 5 are there. The ship is beautiful and has such features as bumper cars, North star skydiving ,the circus swing ...
