We cruise often and this was the worse cruise we have ever been on. We purchased a drink package and not once during our cruise did someone offer us a drink without us going to the bar or waving someone down. We had rude things said to us, witnessed rude things said to others, and even witnessed staff making fun of another passenger. The food was mediocre at best. The logistics for disembarkation ...
I would like to state that for the most part, the staff on the ship was very professional and very courteous. It only takes a couple to make the trip a negative experience and below is my review.
We recently sailed on the MSC Seaside over Christmas. We had very high expectations when we booked the yacht club as our friends, who were also on the cruise, recommended it to us. I will not complain ...
This cruise has been a horrible experience from day one. EVERY bit of this cruise, with the exception of the cleaning and wait staff, has been awful. I am severely lactose intolerant, and NEVER before have I had the flat refusal to make me something I could eat like I have on this cruise. I have starved for five days. I reiterate, I have paid an obscene amount of money to starve for five days. ...
We chose this ship because of the itinerary. We found the ship to be very similar to the Epic all the way down to the smaller rooms and restaurants. The food was good and it was nice to see what type of food would be served at the evening buffet. Our kids enjoyed themselves.
The negative aspects were the room stewards were not as attentive as we have seen in the past. Washclothes we're not ...
We have been on multiple NCL cruises in the past and have been completely satisfied. But, the most recent cruise on the Breakaway was pretty bad!
We took a Christmas cruise with the family. The ship was full and the staff did a poor job of handling the number of people that were on this cruise. There were lines everywhere. The concept of eating meals when you want to didn't work! Anytime ...
Le Champlain is a lovely ship with only ninety-two cabins, 165 passengers and 115 crew members. We felt the on-board experience was excellent in almost every respect and were impressed that most crew members knew us by name, or at least by cabin number and preferences midway through the cruise.
Ponant has had difficulties with the local Mexican government and they have been unable to embark ...
We have sailed with RC before and wanted to try MSC. For the price we paid we got good value. We are a family of 4 and stayed in a balcony cabin which was ok.
We had the easy package which was good. The wines included were sufficient for me. Our children really liked that they could try the various fruit drinks and fruit smoothies that were included. We mainly ate in the buffet which was good ...
This was our 3rd Merrytime cruise, as cruising over Christmas has become our tradition, however this year might be our last. The quality of DCL is clearly slipping. The Magic is dated, showing many signs of wear from the room to the pool.
The dining staff at dinner works so hard, they are in constant rapid motion. It seems they are short staffed, forced to cover more tables per server than ...
We chose this cruise for the Caribbean itinerary and previous experience with Celebrity.
BOAT DESIGN Really like the design of the boat. Now second favourite to Viking ocean cruise ship. It felt fresh and light filled Enjoyed the solarium with soaring glass ceiling and windowed walls for the days when it was too windy to sit outside. It was supposed to be adults only until 4:30 although ...
Our family of 12 chose the Norwegian Breakaway for our Christmas Cruise. We had eight adults and four children ranging in ages 11 to 17. We were so excited to go on this Cruise and planned for over 12 months. Boy were we disappointed!
In general, the boat seemed severely understaffed. Service at the restaurants and at the bars were incredibly slow. At times we waited over 30 minutes for a ...
