This is our 6th time cruising, second time with Royal, first time with a big ship like Allure.
Embarkation was super easy. We were about an hour late than our scheduled check-in time, but no problem at all.

We have been cruising for many years, and this was our 8th HAL cruise with our sons. We started cruising ten years ago with our children as 3rd and 4th passengers in a Neptune suite. They are now teenagers and are in their own inside cabin. Beware, when you make this switch, your children will lose their Neptune Suite benefits, even if you continue to book a Neptune Suite.

We choose this ship because of the dates and length of this cruise. We have been on 23 cruises and this was the worst one we have ever been on. We chose Allure because of what it offered and it was wonderful! We had a Central Park Balcony cabin with adjoining balconies and loved sitting out there and listening to music and park sounds. Everyone recommended booking the Aqua Show early in the cruise and they were right.
