We took this cruise to celebrate a birthday. Two of us had a Rockstar suite while the other two had a terrace room. The Rockstar suites were amazing, but the terrace rooms were excellent as well. As much space as a normal hotel room, so you never felt cramped or crowded. The bathrooms in the Rockstar were exceptional with a fantastic shower.
The events on the cruise were so varied that it ...
This trip was given to me as a gift for my 50th birthday from my son. It was great. Especially as my first time on a cruise. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The only thing we think the type and quality of the trip food can be a little better, different cultures. The ship crew was very friendly and courteous. It was a very smooth sailing. The excursion that was offered was amazing and ...
We truly enjoyed this wonderful cruise. There were lots of good food from buffet to luxurious restaurants. We also had yummy drinks at the bar. We enjoyed dancing the night as well. The casino was fun, although we lost a lot of money. I look forward to coming back and winning next time! There was also a photographer who captured some nice pictures of us. We also went shopping. The Broadway shows ...
Having been on over a dozen cruise lines this by far was the best. Relaxing cruise, staff, great food. All eager to help. Smaller vessel which was nice. No waiting for anything. Irresistible med ports were terrific. Just one mishap with a walking tour in Toulon. Was compensated for our troubles. Would book another virgin cruise, May be my go to ship. Highly recommend. We tip our hat to all the ...
This was our second voyage with Virgin, the first being for Sir Richard’s Birthday Bash, and we had an AWESOME EXPERIENCE except for embarkation. We purchased the Splash of Romance package so we could board early due to my physical disability. This was the only trouble point during the whole trip. I won’t go into specifics on this other to say that the terminal crew needs better training when ...
My wife and I booked this cruise to reconnect during the first year of having our first child. (It might seem crazy to many, but trust me, 5 nights away to reconnect, reenergize and refocus on what is important is a game-changer. Plus, we are back and the baby could not be doing better, so relax people!).
This entire experience was out of this world. Virgin Voyages knows what they are doing. I ...
We chose the cruise due to the eclectic nature of Virgin cruises. We were not disappointed and had a fabulous time. A few things we didn't care for - the POOL. Way too small. I'm a swimmer and love to swim, put my head under water and refresh in the water when it's hot. By 2pm the water was warm and kind of milky - lol. Virgin needs a larger pool on their cruises. Also, I'm gluten free. ...
We sailed on Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady River Maya cruise in May 2023. It was 5 nights with a stop in Costa Maya and Bimini. The whole experience was amazing! The ship, service, food, service, and entertainment are all amazing. I was particularly blown away by the food. Its top quality, and unique flavors. The portions are small so that you can try apps, mains, desserts, or even multiple of ...
This was my first ever cruise and my experience on Virgin set the bar pretty high for any future trips. We chose the 5 day cruise to Costa Maya & Bimini on the Scarlet Lady and we had such a great time that we have already booked another 8 day cruise for next year!
First things first, adults only is the best way to cruise if your not bringing your own little ones. No kids running around ...
Price point was great, location of port was good for us and easy to get to. We knew this was a smaller/older ship so our expectations were based on that understanding. This was our 8th cruise total , but first one since COVID. The embarkation/debarkation at Jacksonville was the smoothest I have ever experienced for any cruise line taken. The staff for the entire ship was exceptional. Our room ...
