Because of the quirks in our vacation schedule, my wife and I, cruise veterans of over 25 voyages on
different lines, decided to take a 3 day voyage on the Carnival Liberty. This cruise was sandwiched
between a 5 day cruise on the brand new Norwegian Prima, and a 7 day cruise on the Celebrity Apex.
You may think in writing this review that (to paraphrase Shakespeare) “I have come to bury ...
I've sailed with Holland America three times in the past, all prior to the COVID pandemic. The Westerdam, the Nieuw Amsterdam, and the Eurodam. Each ship impressed with it's service, food, comfort, and laid back style. I am not a fan of the mega ships that are out there and Holland America tends to run in the mid-size ship category.
Oh yes, the mega ships at other lines are very ...
We regularly cruise with either Celebrity, Azamara, Oceania, or Viking. I wanted to try a different cruise style, so decided to experience Virgin. I will list both what I found as pros and cons. We travelled as rock stars I with a larger veranda.
The cabin was very nicely decorated and had a large bathroom with a great shower. Water pressure and hot water was never an issue. The service was ...
Carnival Spirit review 12-11-22
Boarding pretty good, smooth and fast except for a long wait sitting at one point in the process. 10 am check-in time but not onboard till 11.
Cabin 5231

This is the third Royal Caribbean cruise I've been on, but the first time we've decided to take one of their bigger boats. We usually travel on Carnival, but have also been on an NCL cruise recently. We were disappointed by this cruise in a few facets, and probably wouldn't take a RCCL trip again unless friends/family do. It wasn't an offensively bad experience, just...average. Nothing incredibly ...
We live close to the port and have sailed with Carnival several times so when we got a discount offer we decided to take the 6 day cruise. First impressions were that the ship a little dated and not in the best of shape. The crew was very good but 2 areas were a big disappointment. First, the entertainment was terrible. Every night in the theater the same entertainers sung their unfamiliar songs ...
We chose this cruise because we live near Port Canaveral and would have no travel and we wanted to check out the MSC cruise line.
Arrived few minutes before 11am check in time. Went through security and the stood in line about 1 hour to get checked in. Our boarding number was 27. So check in time has nothing to do with boarding time. I feel confident some people were checked in prior to their ...
We have sailed on all the Oasis class ships and were delighted to have the chance to sail on the newest and biggest.
Well, this may be our least favorite of the Oasis class, Service in the dining venues and bars was very spotty requiring long waits and even hunting down servers. The food quality has taken a turn in the wrong direction and there is much repetition in the offerings. One ...
Overall the MSC Seascape is a stunning ship with an incredible fitness center. However, the disembarkment process was absolutely horrific and unorganized in Miami, FL. The "express walk-off" line wrapped around the entire ship, which took nearly an hour to get off, which caused me to miss my flight, among other travel inconveniences. In reference to the food and drinks, some staff was known to ...
We won this cruise and had 2 other couples decide to jump on with us. This was my first cruise with Virgin but have cruised RC in the past. I think overall it was good and don't have any major complaints but will list some comparisons I noticed. the rooms were far less spacious on Virgin but the water pressure was great in the shower. They do a single day service as opposed to the twice a day ...
