Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

From the first time stepping on the ship we had a poor experience. Our luggage arrived after four and a half hours of being onboard the ship. Once it did it was damaged. We had brand new bags and both had rips all over them and the large bag now has a broken wheel. The buffet food was better then other cruise lines I had been on up until I went to the restaurants and learned that it was the ...

Honestly do not get the hype over mediocre food, service and pools...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Disney Fantasy

After many years we took the family on a Disney Cruise and current will be the first and last one taken. I do not understand the hype and blind following DCL has. We are fans of the parks and hotels, annual pass holders, but it seems like the Cruise Line just does not have the same standards as the parks. While the ship is nice enough, the layout leave a lot to be desired. To start the main ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Meraviglia

I'm giving this cruise a two star and not a one start, because of the service in the boat. The service staff what really good. But the experience was really really bad. This is the first and last time with any MSc cruise. It was a 5-6 hour check in process. Even the people at the counter were complaining that they changed the system on them with no training, for my wife and I took 20-30 minutes in ...

Disappointed

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Meraviglia

Where do I begin! This was a terrible cruise. First the ship was beautiful and newer. However it was extremely short staffed, lacked so much as far as entertainment & food! The food was so disappointing in the dining room and especially in the buffets! The staff was incredibly rude and probably overworked from them being short staffed! The drink package was a waste of money because getting a drink ...

Very Disappointed

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Meraviglia

MSC Meraviglia Port Canaveral. It started with a 4 hour delay. Thousands of people waiting outside in line for more than 4 hours. No announcement. No communication. Only to find out this was all the fault of Customs and the Coast Guard. This embarkment was totally unacceptable. The entire cruise was a big let down. After arriving on the boat at 6pm, computers were not working properly, no ...

Nightmare cruise

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Meraviglia

Nightmare started upon arriving at port at our updated time to check in due to Coast Guard inspection. The line was unbelievable. We were lucky, if you can call it that, water was supplied to the people in line where the water was set up. More water stations should have been set up as the lines were so long. Then some representative of MSC came out to inform us that the delay was caused by us ...

We've enjoyed RC before multiple times but this time in every single bar there are elementary age children bellied up to all the bars at all hours. They don't enforce adults only even in the adults only solarium. No place to get away from bratty children. Even the late night shows were toned down and were full of kids. The dining was standard okay. The solarium is good for breakfast and lunch ...

A bright, clean, ship with great dinners and port stops, but lacking many common expectations.

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Scarlet Lady

We sailed the Scarlett Lady on October 9, 2022, to Cozumel and the Bahamas from Miami for five nights. I found that most people either loved the trip or disliked it. As a second-time cruiser, I actually came away with mixed opinions, but overall, I am probably not inclined to return to this cruise line because the cons outweighed the pros. Here are my pros and cons: PROS: 1. The crew workers ...

***THIRD TIME ON SCARLET LADY IN 75 DAYS & GOT SICK***

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Scarlet Lady

It was the third time I've been on the Scarlet Lady within the past 90 days. The first two trips were "smooth sailing" and I had XL Sea Terrace cabins for the first two cruises. On the most recent cruise, I had a Rockstar "Seriously Suite" with access to "Richard's Rooftop". The suite was great and so was Richard's Rooftop...but, I got sick after eating oysters at The Wake and was confined to my ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Magic

This cruise was advertised quite reasonably so we booked. Also, we could drive to the port. That was the good part. Also, the dining room was wonderful! Both the service and the food were way above average. We really enjoyed the music duo Magic and Music - so much talent! Great tunes to dance to. Now the ugly; the Lido Marketplace is disgusting. Long lines to wait for slop! If you only want to ...
