Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Ventura

User Avatar

We choose Ventura for the ports of call. Alas, three were cancelled but the ports we did call at were in the main okay during our 35 night sailing. Never again on Ventura, the food was of poor quality, the service, hit and miss, the entertainment average, I don't think anyone would watch the acts if they appeared at venues other than on a cruise. The cabins, managed to a Travel Lodge standard, ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Epic

I have been on a couple of cruises and thought I would try out Norwegian for the first time. Sailing on the Epic made me question whether I want to sail with this line ever again. The ship is just super outdated! Particularly the rooms. I stayed in a balcony and they have these weird couches in them that are extremely stained and make me question if I even want to sit on them. The carpets are ...

Last time we were on Royal Caribbean was before Covid. I always used to love Royal Caribbean until this cruise. Started off with problems with my seapass card. It would not work. Ended up missing the ice show. Had to stand in Guest services line twice to get a new cards issued. Ship is overrun with kids. Kids running up and down the hallways. Parents doing nothing. kids playing kickball in ...

First and last NCL sailing

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Epic

I take no pleasure in saying that I've never dealt with a company that treats customer service as recklessly as NCL. There are several points for improvement. I'll focus on the most glaring issue. On the final day of our cruise, a staff member at the photography studio yelled at us, and became extremely condescending, over their inaccurately labeled and stated prices. We were provided several ...

Carnival Dream Review

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Dream

User Avatar

Carnival is obviously struggling to pay off its debt from the pandemic. I have never been on a cruise where there was so much disorganization, poor customer service, weary employees, ineffective systems, and general apathy. The Carnival Hub app is not very good. It does not show OBC at the onset of a cruise. It does not automatically transfer casino credits to your account. It does not ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Caribbean Princess

Went on this cruise as my sister-in-law lives in the area and wanted us to go on another cruse with them. Unfortunately we have really only had marginal to poor success with Princess Cruises. First let me start that we were both gold medallion suite guests as well as having purchased the Premier Package. We arrived at the port at our assigned times yet had a 45 min wait to get into the terminal. ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Seashore

User Avatar

We chose this cruise to fill in a gap in our vacation schedule- being snowbirds from colder climates! The ship is beautiful, there are multiple seating areas, the standard cabin was spacious, although the bathroom space was tight. MSC does require you to bring your own distilled water for CPAP machine. Other cruise lines provide this. The variety show was entertaining but the stage productions ...

14 Day Southern Caribbean cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Zaandam

User Avatar

We took this cruise as a "back-to-back" cruise with a 15 Day Panama Canal cruise on the same ship. We changed cabins from aft port hole to aft interior. This was to try out these types of cabins, and see what the experience is like without a balcony of our own - and honestly, to see if these far less expensive cabins would serve us as well as the balcony / suite cabins. We found that the two ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

User Avatar

We cruised on the Carnival Sunshine 3-8 Feb 2024. As a welcome and taste of things to come, we were handeded rum punch in a water bottle that we could keep when we boarded.  Then we were told they were $26.  We handed them back. Our Stateroom Attendant, Komang,  was fantastic.  Very nice, and even remembered his assigned guests by name. I use a CPAP, but there wasn't an electric outlet by ...
