Overpriced and overrated

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Dream

User Avatar

Disney Dream is not designed properly for masses of passengers it carries. Public areas are always overwhelmingly crowded, pools, buffet and even elevators. Rooms were very comfortable but once you stepped out into the hallway the nightmare started. Narrow long hallways always had housekeeping carts and food trays on the floor no matter what time of day, add people passing from opposite direction ...

First and Last

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Quantum of the Seas

There was plenty of food and it was pretty good. The service was even better. The only issue with service was when we got to our room. We were traveling with 3 young kids all under 9, we were suppose to have adjoining rooms. After going to front desk and explaining our situation they claimed there is nothing that they can do being that the ship was fully booked. The only solution was to give my ...

I hate Disney, so this is not an objective review

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Magic

You may wonder why a person who hates television, movies, and companies like Disney would go on a Disney cruise. Don't ask. Despite my warped view, I think I can still offer a somewhat objective view of the cruise experience, but take my views with a grain of salt given the foregoing. The Good: 1. Crew. Disney staff were extremely professional, and overall seemed to really like what they do. ...

Disappointing!!! Try another option

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas

First, this is a cruise focused on elderly people, although this is not advertised as a theme cruise. I love being with elderly people, nothing against it, except for the fact that 100% of the ship facilities and entertainment was totally focused on that public. Therefore, if you are not over 65, you will not have fun. Otherwise, you will have problems. Like for example, the only pool which is ...

DON'T DO IT!

Everything is a waiting game that is expected, newer is not always better. However, when porting your seated by representatives who do not pay attention. People that where seated last where served first. I've been cruising for a while and this has been my worst experience. They tried to do more with less. They ran out of ice, they ran out of soda. The food was disgusting. What ever was left over, ...

I specifically went thru a Royal Caribbean representative so I was sure I would get what I wanted....lets see-where do I start. I booked a room for 4 and the picture on the web site and the room where not even in the same ball park. So much so I went to the desk before checking in telling them a mistake was made...so sorry, no mistake. No couch-no extra bed, just bunk beds that dropped out of the ...

this was my first celebrity cruise and i was all excited to experience the excellent upscale experience everyone tells me celebrity offers. well i was very disappointed. first, the good--the entertainment was excellent and the cruise director and his staff were great. the room was fine and the room staff was excellent. now the bad--the food was poor in all areas, not enough choices, not served ...

A Huge Letdown

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Quantum of the Seas

After reading many of the "good" reviews here, maybe our experience was just an "off week" for this cruise. Having been on over 60 cruises and Diamond level with RCCL, we had a very good idea of what to expect and what not to expect on this voyage. However, the bad far outweighed the good experiences here. We found the food quality and service in all of the speciality restaurants to be great, ...

Attention Americans-MSC Divina is not the right cruise for you!

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Divina

The MSC Divina is a huge disappointment! Not a cruise for Americans!! The Customer Service is horrible. None of the staff can speak or understand English fluently (including managers!) the food is disgusting ( on two different occasions I found hair in my food which was also served very cold!) I showed my plate to the waiter, he shrugged his shoulders like it was no big deal, then picked the hair ...
