This was my first cruise ever.. I went for my birthday with my husband and I must say I had a blast. The food was amazing. I ate all day. The breakfast omg didn’t even know you make so many things for breakfast. The dinner was good, had chicken, pizza, rice, veggies, ice cream salad drinks were good, The staff was very pleasant. We brought the $80 drink band for 10 drinks and was drunk on our ...

Terrible Time

Terribly sad, large portion of staff rude, they do not want anyone to have a great time, food was ok, after 31 cruises I can tell you this is by far a total waste of your money. I have sat with I would have to say without exaggeration 100 people probably more , the general census is the ship is just no fun at all. In every area of the ship. What is going on, we have yet seen the so called cruise ...

I enjoyed my cruise tremendously! I have sailed with Royal and Carnival before, and I really feel like this trip was on par with those experiences. The ship was beautiful, it felt very premium. The modern luxurious feel of the decor was lovely. The Edge bar was a standout location, it had great energy and wonderful bartenders. I also enjoyed the views from the Sky Lounge and spent ...

First time cruising/ something to be desired

My husband and I went with seasoned cruisers since this was our first time. The ship itself was beautiful and most of the staff were welcoming and pleasant. However, the room stayed rather warm. This rocked and swayed really bad the first couple of days. . Glad I wore my ear patch. I asked twice for an extra pillow and did not get one, I had to get my ship card changed because it wouldn’t open my ...

Perfect 5 days solo cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Holland America Rotterdam

That 5 days solo cruise was the one just before the ship going to Europe. A lot of people took this one and the crossover (back to back). I wasn't one of the lucky ones. The deal costs less than 1000$ CDN. Stops were Nassau, Key West and Half Moon Cay. Nassau: Been there twice before and unfortunalely the pier renovation was not completely ready yet. it is now. Unless you have an excursion you ...

We chose this cruise as a 70 birthday present to each other. 26 night cruise including the Amazon. Booked a conceige cabin, so had a pre- cruise hotel. Lovely room but stuck in a residential area, long queue to check and poor luke warm breakfast. Never had such a long wait to board, even had a wait to even join the queue. The poorest standard cabin, I have had on a cruise ship. Cracked, chipped ...

Wanted to cruise to places we have not visited & try a different cruise line. Did the all included package of WiFi & Drinks. When compared to Royal's al a carte style this was a better value. We also had a balcony cabin on deck 9. Embarkation: We had done all of the pre-embarkation items on the App. Boarding time was scheduled for 11am. Arrived at the terminal around 10:30. Check in took ...

We just returned from our first cruse EVER!! We sailed on the Scarlet Lady. Here are notes I took during our cruise: Day 1 ◦ 30 minutes from boarding time until we were in our room ◦ Sea terrace with hammock was fabulous. King size bed that was very comfortable! If you want, the steward will turn the bed into a couch during the day, but we didn’t do that because we were rarely in the ...

We were looking for adults only and heard such good reviews on Virgin Voyager. We decided to try it for ourselves. The food, shows dance and casino were all a great experience. There was only one restaurant we didn’t get to try, Razzle Dazzle so on our next one we will book there 1st. All others were great experience. I really enjoyed Carlos Diva, excellent entertainer kept us laughing. Ship show ...
